Looks good. I’m a military veteran, the flag is flown with pride and honor. For those that don’t know, when the flag is flown stripes first and the stars to the back the vessel or the team is on retreat, you are backing down. The stars always leads at any profile.

Is your Bass Boat next? I just found your channel (and subscribed). I’m getting my first yak next month. I think I’m gonna go with the Ascend 10T, from Cabela’s/Bass Pro Shops. It’s the best value for what I’m looking to use it for, and has the features I’m looking for.I’ll be able to “Mod” it up the way I want for a reasonable amount of money, and still have a nice boat. This video is icing on the cake for looks, value, and I can do it myself. Tight lines!!!

First thing I did when I bought my kayak is fish out of it. You want to do you can see where you want to add your modifications. Lots of on water testing

I just got my new yak..bigwater 132 pdl.....and I got my wrap...bass chasing a lure .into american flag.... I've never wrapped anything, so seeing your video has given me more confidence to do it...I will send you a pic...thanks for this video!

Whenever i work with vinyl..be it stickers or whatnot...i use a couple drops of dish soap in some water and install it like tint...

I agree with the stars the way you did it. Our Navy uniforms are the same way. Our flags need to be facing the right way haha. I think its looks way better the way you did it. Nice job man!

So how’s the wrap held up ? I’m considering wrapping my little boat but it’s made polyethylene and wrap doesn’t like to stick to it so I’ve been told to use 3M vinyl primer 94 to help it stay stuck down.

Using soapy water in a spray bottle on the kayak before you put the vinyl with help minimize the creasing potential. Looks fantastic man how has it held up

@@KayakUSA1 good deal! I was told by a couple different shops in my area of southeastern, Wisconsin, that they are not capable of wrapping a kayak. Then the stickers I ordered were not the right ones so all they did was slide. At least I know there is some hope now lol, thank you again I loved the video!

That look's awesome. I actually like that you didn't match the 2 sides, the flag never looks right backwards to me. I wonder if that stuff would work on some of the textured plastic? My kayak has some of that textured plastic in the front on the sides.

Love your videos, and this is sweet.....but, .....I'm pretty sure flag display etiquette says the stars should be at the bow with the stripes flowing toward the stern? As if the flag were actually flying as the yak was moving. Don't shoot the messenger. 🇺🇸

After applying the wrap and satisfied. Does a person need to apply a sealant on the edges? If so, curious what that is

I noticed you kept saying $600-$700 for a kayak wrap. Not trying to plug but just trying to inform. My Facebook page “Fishing Kayak Wrap Designs by Daniel”, I sell custom made vinyl kayak wraps for $350 on standard vinyl, just in case anyone is interested in getting a more affordable custom design.
