I can't believe I missed this video till now. Anyway I wouldn't change the way you start these videos it could give someone new the idea that pretty much as soon as you throw pack bait in the carp are going to start biting. That's what I love about these videos it shows people the downtime with just baits out. The only thing it doesn't show them is that we all get skunked sometimes. You make the best videos on KZfaq hands down. I appreciate them and all you share with us. It's helped my fishing personally, and I've been cat and carp fishing for 40yrs. So if I can still learn something anyone can. I was pretty dead set in my way of fishing, and it produced fish but not as many as the ways I've changed to thanks to you.

LOVED the video and that big buffalo!! The QUITE time is worth a fortune and the fish are a bonus, NICE CARP also plus Blue berries!! One of my biggest Common was caught using 1/2 a piece of a Strawberry.

Ive tried strawberry and never had any luck,so i went with lime jello and caught 2 20+ pound carp back to back,after those 2 i was tired lol,now im known at the park i fish as a big fish catcher,i know 2 people went from bluegill fishing to carp lol,after the 2 big ones i caught a 4lb carp and a little kid was like ive never caught one like that,i handed him my pole and said you reel it in then,he was happy as could be,but yeah when people see me around there they set and watch to see what im going to catch,its cool but not relaxing sometimes lol thanks for the video man im in Tennessee as well

Im starting year 30 teaching in DCSS/Douglasville. When I was a head coach we saw T-Dogg at a game when we played his daughters school. Always heard he was a good guy but we didnt bother him.

On the trolling motor issue, have you thought about mounting the battery in the rear to balance out. I believe you could run the wires under the lip with some Velcro and maybe that could help

I had it back there for awhile. It definitely helped balance out the weight distribution, however, I do get 0.5mph more top speed by having more weight upfront. It’s a trade off.

Another good thing to use if your not using a hair rig use the the gulp salmon eggs we use the yellow ones so they look like corn

Pity about the Gopro overheating like it does - video quality is much better. The DJI gets blurry and pixelated often. Still, there's no use having a good looking camera that won't work when you need it to. Practicality wins every day.

I use these bait cages. They tend to hold your pack bait longer in situations where there is current. Love your videos cause all other t v is junk

He does have Playlists on his Channel. You could always create your own Playlist of his by pre-selecting vids of his you'd like to watch/listen to and put them all into your "WATCH LATER" section. I do that all the time.🙂

I love Carp fishing,here in south Africa its one of our top freshwater fish to catch,my biggest is a 42lber or 19.2kg here.biggest mirror carp was 31 lbs on the same trip that took place over a week. though it seems the carp quality is better overall here than there by yall

Curious to see what direction you go on the trolling motor. I’m debating with myself on the same issue. The Garmin is about $1,650 more than the 24v xi5. For that price difference you could get a new Lowrance fish finder and use the old Garmin for livescope. Maybe the c-map has better info on the Ohio river than Navionics - I I don’t think it could be worse. It also seems like the Garmin motor would require a lot more DIY to mount.

Hey man I buffalo fish all the time in pay lakes and in the wild if you wanna target more buffs then get some soy bean meal mix up 4 pounds w 2 cans of corn then mix your panko you normally use in the soy bean buffs love soy bean I've caught them up to 61 pounds Many over 50 give it a try

Awesome! A carp video. Justin, I am still waiting on the 2 part video series. Carp fishing one day and catfishing the next using cut carp for bait. Every month or so I filet one up to keep for an alternative bait. It keeps very well.

@@KayakCatfish I use the Bubba cordless electric filet knife. With the wider 12 inch long blade, it makes quick work of any carp. I just leave the skin and scales on the filet.

I don’t know the length off the top of my head but they were definitely the larger size trailers. I have seen some really short jet ski trailers. I don’t think those would work well.
