Thank you so much! There are a ton of tidal creeks in the area. I would probably stick to the creeks and/or hug the shore if going in larger rivers just until you see how the kayak handles in different conditions. I’ve gotten into a few hairy situations when the tide is falling fast and literally paddling as hard as I can just to stay stationary. I think you’ll be perfectly fine, but just error on the side of caution until your comfort level increases.
