Жыл бұрынLake Cumberland, located in Southeastern Kentucky, is an adventurer’s dream, with over 1,200 miles of shoreline there is quite a bit to explore, One spot that is both famous and well-loved is hidden in a cove, join us as we paddle a small potion of that shoreline in hunt of an epic waterfall.

The stunning waterfall was so worth the journey. I loved all the lush green trees by the lake and the exposed root system was so interesting!

"Dia dhuit" I am glad you enjoyed it. I wish you would have felt some water splash while I struggled to film and paddle simultaneously behind the waterfall. I am glad I wasn't swallowed by the waterfall but shared the beauty of waterfall inside and out. I am certain I didn't see any roots exposed nor rock formation in Dublin. You inspired me to walk/hike, so I did over the weekend. OMG, what did I get myself into??? I climbed at an elevation of 2,280 feet above sea level. I should have cheated using an elevator...I may suffer leg cramps....ouch...Peter, apologies...I will catch up on vids I missed over the weekend.

As a native of Lake Cumberland I’ve been at 76 falls many many times!! A few years ago as the wolf Creek Dam was going a major renovation the army corps of engineers lowered the lake level to historic levels… at that time you couldn’t get to the falls by boat … it really was a sight! The falls were falling for over 80’!!!! If you want another great kayak adventure then put in below the dam then paddle down the river to the historic natural arch called Rockhouse Bottom.. you won’t be disappointed…

What a great Kayaking experience. It is certainly a beautiful area. The small waterfalls are pretty. 6:42 Very impressive Falls. Mammoth Cave is a place we also want to visit, but right now you have to get a permit to film it for youtube

Hi Mr and Mrs Kayak! Great day for a paddle, and a beautiful lake to explore! Really pretty rock formations and wow, exciting to see the waterfalls flowing right into the lake. The big falls sure is impressive! We’ve kayaked a few times, but never to a waterfall! It’s awesome that you can paddle behind the falling water and get right up close to the rock face. 😄👌👍👍 Enjoyed the video- esp Mrs. kayak’s orange jacket! 😄🧡

Hello my friend again watching from GUAM 🇬🇺 What a perfect day to enjoy the lake and waterfalls, it looks so peaceful just paddling until the wind picked up. Love nature and the outdoors. Awesome place for picture taking and Instagram shots - haha. That was cool going behind the falls.

Hi Miss Travel Nature & Life. I am honored that you took time watching this video and appreciate your compliment. I am certain you can point out many waterfalls in your beautiful area. Each waterfall has different appearance and I wanted to share the beauty of this waterfall inside and out. It was not easy paddling and filming simultaneously...I am glad I wasn't swallowed by the waterfall. haha. Thank you always for supporting K7S. Beautiful views right from the start . Shame the picnic area was a mess . Good adventure too the falls nice scenery on the way . The first waterfalls were cool too see then around the corner.
