I will never forget it. Leaving the hospital with a newborn, coming home to my apartment the cleanest it's ever been. My husband did the most back at our place while I was at the hospital because we did not expect me to have the baby early. He even got us flowers.

I like the hospital corridor ceilings. Really shows they’ve thought about how it feels to travel through there on your back. Being on a trolly often is quite disorienting in itself, all the harsh grids of drop ceilings etc. it looks like they’ve genuinely made an effort to get this right for the patients

Absolutely beautiful, i remember the day my daughter was born and getting to bring her home for the first time like it was yesterday. I didn't get to hold her for 9 months but as a father walking her out of the hospital is one of the greatest things I've ever felt in my life!!!

That 'cooing' is the baby emulating the sounds she heard during delivery. If you pay attention, you'll find that she'll have the same rhythm and cadence as you did while in labor making 'labor sounds'. All of mine did, and my gbabies, too. Just one of those amazing mom/baby connections. Congrats on your beautiful baby girl, lil miss bean.

Babies only know how to make one sound, and it has nothing to do with any sound you made during labor. If you want to believe it, that's fine , but consider the women who didn't experience a good labor and those going into it, worried that the type of sounds they will make will impact the baby. This is not true, the baby just " coos" with no comprehension nor understanding of any sound they heard.

Omg, absolutely NOT true! I'm a birthing doula, nanny, and mom for over 20 years, and what you're claiming is absolutely NOT true! Your doctorate probably isn't worth the paper it was printed on. Also, if YOU did some research, you'd realize this baby was born over two months ago! They were on the 'Unplanned' podcast w/Matt and Abby and brought the baby w/them!
