Because they have fought 3 times now and Kayla obviously took a year off. The natural progression will be Kayla getting back to training, take a few fights, and then get another title shot. Does that make sense?

In my opinion she is already done. Her opponent, Julia Budd, is over the hill and on the downward slide. All of Kayla's past fights were of lessor opponents until she fought Larissa Pacheco and lost the championship. I expect her to beat Budd, but unless she can take back the title all she is proving is that she is done.

@@JohnSmith-ug5ci they are lots of fighters that are close to that age wonderboy is 40 and randy cotour was 45 or 46 year old champion. The UFC is different from most sports because if you have good striking and grappling you can make it work after 40
