Kayla Santos I have seen something like this before. I had a furnace 80% efficient with a draft inducer added on to the vent. There must have been a to large of a load placed on the new electronic thermostat that would not let the inducer come on and fire the furnace. You said that the furnace is older. Does it have a draft inducer that comes on when the furnace fires up? Your furnace could have a thermopile which is a large thermocouple. Which would need a special thermostat. I know that you may not understand all of this but there is something in your furnace that the electronic thermostat is not giving it. I don't think you did anything wrong. On the furnace that I had that would not fire with the new thermostat, I put the old one back on it ran and that was the end of it. If I could I would stop by and take a look but if there is anything else that I can answer let me know. The good news is that your furnace runs.

You would have to turn off power at the furnace. The switch that turns the entire furnace off.

They are for different modes. Say the efficiency of your furnace might change the setting so you would change the small switches.

themrhelperguy my furnace is a baseboard water heater so i belive switchs 1 and 2 might be on.

Help me I need to know where to set the two switches an where the 2 wires go plz
