6 ай бұрынAbsolutely phenomenal! Kaylia Nemour has showcased her incredible talent, securing the silver medal on the uneven bars at the 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. In the all-around final, she made history by placing 8th, marking the highest placement for any gymnast representing an African nation. Notably, her outstanding performance on the uneven bars earned her a remarkable score of 15.2, the highest given for this apparatus throughout the championships and the top individual score in the all-around final.
In event finals she missed her opening combination, but demonstrated resilience and skill, scoring an impressive 15.066. This score, just shy of a tenth behind Qiu Qiyuan of China, secured her the silver medal. Notably, this achievement marks a historic moment as the first world championship medal earned by an African gymnast. Kaylia's journey and success inspire us all, showcasing the rising prominence of African gymnastics on the world stage. 🌍🤸♀️🥈

She flies, but what I really like is her handstand was fully vertical. It's my pet peeve that elite gymnasts throw super difficult releases but then give away points with sloppy handstands, lack of toe point, steps on landing...
