Everything about them was perfect in the show. Both characters were cast perfectly. My favorite scene of theirs is when Inej saves Kaz’s life from the Etherealki. The way he looked at her after she killed was just so 😍. I feel so bad for her. She didn’t want to kill him but she had no other choice.

I'm emo about them right now and I don't even go here. Your mind really is that powerful just WOW!

I love how they changed little things from the book, like kaz saying Inej is an investment and there are others out there like her, to him in the show valuing her as a person and saying ‘no one is like you’.

I was not prepared to witness something this breathtakingly cinematic from an edit… this is quite possibly the most beautiful cinematography I have ever witnessed in general, let alone in an edit. Kaz and Inej a short I made. They are both human & seeing just how they struggle to reach out their hand is very realistic. They both have truamas and fears and hope's and a need of love from one another that runs deep. You can feel their emotions for one another. The fear of being unloved terrified them, but at least they did their best with what they had. That kind of pain that runs so deep is difficult, they see the world as a chaotic, cruel, terrible, unloving place that has only betrayed and taken from them relentlessly. Yet they also see the beauty in the world yet it's terryfying to them to love and lose. They see & feel within eachother the absence of chaos in their silence and their words, their love shared with every love, the beauty in the memories that they have, the security in the safety of eachothers soulfire connection, the hope they keep alive with every touch from their eye's, the trust they built overtime looking out for both their lives.
