i feel like kaz doesn't want to show any feelings towards inej, which btw scream throughout our screens, I really hope he'll open up in season 2 i mean even inej is waiting for that lol.

Okay so idk if its just me or if its cuz it was a small detail but that fact that Kaz knows Inej's size just makes me scream everytime

I've always been a hardcore Kanej stan, and was worried that the actors wouldn't do these amazing characters justice. But they were all perfect and my love for the Kanej pairing has only increased and now I'm just going to go scream because I'm filled with feelings from this.

I just started watching the show and they have some undeniable chemistry we have no option but to ship it

Just to reiterate some stuff that’s already been pointed out by others: the Kaz we see here is not the same character as the Kaz we know in the books, for a number of reasons. He’s not yet at the top of his game and this isn’t yet his story, nor is it yet the proper setting. Kaz’s identity, more than the other crows, is very much tied to Ketterdam and for most of this series he’s out of his element. I think that’s why Jesper and inej have both had big “moments” this season (Jesper on the train, inej stabbing that guy/ making her first kill) but non-book readers have yet to really see the Kaz we know, including the kind of cruelty he is capable of; right now he’s kind of just this the scheming stoic leader. Things will change once the infamous eyeball ripping scene gets depicted, I think that will be the moment where the audience will first gets to see that more violent side of Kaz. I consider this introduction sort of a warm up to get those who aren’t familiar with the source material to want to know more about the characters, so I think emphasizing their more likeable traits was a good decision. And let’s be honest, one of Kaz’s most likeable traits is how much he cares about inej- and yeah maybe it’s a little out of character to see him shouting after her. But in the book she’s constantly in his thoughts, we know she’s a driving motivator for a lot of his actions (including aforementioned eyeball ripping scene.) Since in the show we don’t have the benefit of his internal monologue non book readers would have no idea- a lot of his actions would make less sense without that context- and I think Kaz being a little OOC for their sake is alright. I don’t think it’s saying fuck you to the source material, I think it’s coming from a place of awareness that some things about the SOC books can’t be directly translated on screen.

And, a series where I generally like all the couples in it- I mean Kaz and Inej are great, Nina and Mattias, and even The Darkling and Alina( they had such crazy good chemistry! I mean Mal loves her but there love is lukewarm! lol i just wish the Darkling could end up good and changed)

I don't read Six of Crows yet but now i saw Kaz and Inej OMG and the storyline of the book is very interesting i love the world around it . Characters of Six of Crows. I d'ont really love the part of Grisha story though , the Darkling and music is something but the actress who plays Alina yeah... i don't no... When i have some money i will pay the first book yeahhhhhh So happy
