Bhai Sahab fortuner ke suspension bhut hard hain usse to innova comfort level me bhut zyada achi hai because of soft suspension. Fortuner shareer ko tod deti hai ubad khabad raston par...We personally experienced this on ladakh trip...Ek baar innova se gye the ek baar 4x4 fortuner se...innova was very comfortable in comparison. Hamne Lahaul Spiti ke is safar ka pura maza liya, last blog abhi aane wala hai zaroor dekhiyega, na gaadi ki body hili na hamaari , bas das saal pehle gya tha uska experience kaam aaya, perfect timing chuna aur trip successfully complete kiya without a single underbody hit even in a small car like Baleno.. We crossed yesterday with toyota etios sedan and vogesvagon polo cars safely.... scary path.... with your skills you will cross 80-90 km off road stretch easily.... you will enjoy the adventure alot

I have crossed this route on 5th june night with my tata punch and it was raining too this road is really hell and dengrous. Really rain and ice make it slipry

I won't suggest anyone to drive on this route during night. Because in night you won't enjoy anything. Yes...This would could be a nightmare when it rains .... or water comes from anywhere after melting of snow....That's why I am suggesting all to please check latest weather updates before planning...But it is also true tha we did it very well and easily due to dry weather...We have just to choose the right time ..wisely..💐💐

Pranjal.. The route from Bathal or Kunzum pass to reach main manali highway is not easy at all in low ground clearance cars. There will be areas where you just can't avoid hitting the car base

Kalpana ji...Truely speaking ..We came back from this route even without a single under body hit...Though the route is very tough and scary for hatchbacks but my friend and me have a lot of experience of driving on such bad roads..We all deboarded from the car at so many streches , helped and give the direction to the driver by standing in front of car, by putting stones under the wheels where there were possibilities of under body hit..You can see all this in my upcoming blogs. But it is also true that this year due to late snowfalls there is a great apprehension of more water crossings compared to last year. Last year we were very lucky due to less snowfalls and we managed it very smoothly and without any damage to our baleno.

I recommend all to go by 4×4 vehicles..... although u can go by 4×2 vehicle but might it be dangerous.... with God grace we crossed it on 14-06-2024 safely by etios sedan and polo hatchbag

I suggest to cross losar check post at early 5 am when you come from kaza to manali..... if your starting time is late from kaza then you may struck in water flows on path... because in early morning ice does not melt but when u go in afternoon then due to sun rays ice melts due to which there is chance that ur car may struck in water flows (nallaas).....

I won't suggest...This year road conditions are completely different from last year...I would suggest you to choose another car with high ground clearance and bigger wheels..

Truth is that no sedan car is good for kaza- manali trip....because their groud clearance is very low.... if by chance you struck there.... then no help is there for u.... about 80-90 kms there is no house no shop on path.... With God grace we crossed 180 km from kaza to manali by etios sedan ( me , my wife, two childeren ) without luggage and by vogesvagon polo ( single person with luggage) and by swift desire taxi with luggage, 2 adults and a child....

It is open now...One of my friend who runs a camping site at Chandertal informed me today. He just came back to Manali from Chandertal yesterday. This year due to heavy and late snowfalls there is an huge amount of snow on this route. So plan accordingly..💐💐

It was 11th June 2022. You can go very easily on bike...But at few stretches near batal your pillion will have to get down..We did this in our car too..Go bro ..It is an another type of adventure you can do it easily..But slowly slowly..😊👍
