just to make it clear, i don't have anything against turkish people. In fact, I have a lot of good friends from Turkey. However, u have to understand, we are not one for a thousand of years and we have our own identity which is kazakh. Denying it would be irrational. But I do love turkish people and culture. And you have very nice girls, their accent is so cute))

no I don't have any probs with turks. I have close turkish friends. I studied in a turkish high school for 5 years. That's how I learned turkish. I speak both languages. It's just people who say "I don't care. Turkish, kazakh, they are all the same. they are all turkish." Some people just put turkish above all the other turkic languages. that's what I don't like.

it is not about turks. it is about calling kazakh language turkish, which is wrong. Then why don't we say "kazakh" to turkish. let's say, language spoken in Turkey is Kazakh. because kazakh and turkish are the same. you see. does it sound ok to you? no. so, the correct way to say would be, kazakh, turkish, they are all could be called turkic, but not turkish. when you say turkish to a kazakh language, there is some kinda feeling of discrimination about it. as if kazakh language came from turkish

Turkish??? You must be kidding!!! It is kazakh! I speak both languages, and they are not that similar as most people say! Kazakh ve Turk dilleri eski turk halklarinin konustugu dilden gelmis te, ama vakit gecince artik cok degismis. Anladigin guzel, ama kazak dilini turkce deyip te burdaki herkesin beinini zehirlemeye hic te gerek yok!
