dude i love the fact that knowing bros/ask us anything is more on the open-minded side of the spectrum, they play around as gay/feminine guys (and dress/act like girls duhh haha) and touch on the subject a lot (and even got hong seok-cheon as a guest once) and seemingly never get a bitter or weirded out look on their face, and it's fascinating since a lot of them are older korean men! sorry if that sounded a bit prejudiced, but i know that south korea is very conservative and hardly open-minded to (in that case) the lgbt community, so seeing them just lightly play around with no hard feelings, no "disgust" and no fragile masculinity is very satisfying!

Also in one of the episodes that Jonghyun from SHINEE starred in Heechul was the only one to be excited to get a kiss from him if they answered his questions right. And Heechul directly said "I don't discriminate" Plus with all of Heechuls rumors and the fact he's kissed most of his members in SUJU it's hard not to believe that if not part of the LGBTQ community he's at least an ally. I hope someday Korea will advance enough that Idols and even regular civilians can come out and live their lives safely.

Half of k-popverse have smooched with Chullie at some time in their career, it's like a rite of passage at SM I think. The guy has the devil's own charm and is prettier than most of the female idols these days. The fact that he's warm, open-minded and fairly tolerant helps with his popularity. @@jacobsebastian6714 the hell are you talking about. sugeun is constantly complimenting heechul and saying how pretty he is. at one point they were arguing about the difference between a kiss and a peck and sugeun told heechul "i could actually do it with you" (heechul was the one who backed down, not sugeun) and then he explained that "heechul is very pretty". if anything, sugeun and janghoon are hitting on heechul, not the other way around.
