3 weeks ago I finally decided to go to a KBBQ restaurant by myself, ate two portions of ssamgyupsal, rice, and a bottle of soju. The manager gave me his business carr and told me that I can give him a call even if there’s a lineup outside (its a popular kbbq place in dt vancouver so there’s usually a lineup) and he’d find a way to let me in.

I LOVE going out to eat by myself! I get really gorgeous, order whatever I want, & enjoy my food and making myself happy without worrying about what time to leave the house and/or restaurant. I’m an introvert but I can socialize only if I choose 2...GO GET THAT KBBQ SOLO DOLO!!

love how the korean subtitles are slightly different just to match tone and culture. i've seen so many youtubers just straight up translate which makes it basically nonsense in korean but i can tell you've actually put a lot of thought into making the 'western' jokes understandable in a korean way :D

As a girl who loves cooking I really REALLY agree on the part that I don't want anyone to touch my stuff at the kitchen. I feel like it's my personal space and I wanna make things as best as I can. Whenever my bf cooks I'm all up in there looking after him lmao.

One time me and my brother ate 5 kilos of beef at a kbbq. The waitress, who was previously dumbfounded by the amount we ate, laughed and walked over to turn off our grill when she saw the regret on our faces as we finished out food. We then went to the korean grocery store next door and ate ice cream to balance out the amount of oil we had then sat in the car for a good half hour, contemplating our life choices.

this actually makes me so excited to live on my own and have my own kitchen so i can cook food that i want to eat, and i also love cleaning the kitchen afterwards it just feels so good

It is amazing how the same cut of meat(in this case pork butt) could be the same thing but be turned into so many dishes. Like here in america pork but is pulled pork and beacon and then in korea it can be made into korean bbq. that just shows that many cultures arent so different but at the same time so diverse in ingredients and what is created.

It's a damn shame I don't have any Korean restaurants where I live. I've always wanted to try but never had the chance when I've been in other cities. It's great to watch someone making Korean dishes because it gives me an outlook on what I should be looking for when/if I do end up trying. Gotta learn how to wash dishes I guess! It'd prob help with my e-boy applications xD

That impromptu bibimbap was spot on, I would do the same and make some magic with leftovers, but I would add some additional crispy garlic and chopped siling labuyo (small red chilis) in the mix. Love your videos by the way!

Then from there on out, i’ve been binge watching all of your vlogs!! It was so refreshing to see an influencer be so real and carefree with no filters and such a witty sense of humor along with being able to relate (I can relate to a lot of the things you’ve mentioned in your vlogs! Was really touched with the q&a with your wonderful mom!) Honestly, I’m always laughing and smiling whenever you add a humorous joke in the typed out narratives mixed with the serious side to you.. how come it almost feels like you plan out your actions first before the narrative? Do you ever think about what you’re going to type out in the edits while you’re filming or is it all just created on the spot/ad lib while editing?
