The salt is coming from the Old Bay, it's original intent was to season water when boiling crabs and other shellfish. The first ingredient is Celery Salt (salt, celery seed), so.... It's an acquired taste outside of the boil because of the salt content. I've seen it on Chips, but never as a shaker on fries, etc. Hopefully you were able to taste some of the other spices in there!

Great explanation. As someone who spent a couple of summers in Louisiana, I can recall huge tureens as tall as I was over fire with tons of Old Bay and beer in water being boiled before the crusties were thrown in (lobster, crab, crawdads, shrimp, scallops, etc). I don't think even Costco sells the HUGE container of Old Bay from way back then.

Totally agree. He should’ve ordered more of the interesting/unique items. It would have made for a better video. He could have discovered some new stuff he likes, like the cheesy bacon bombs.

Your onions could of been salty cause you picked Old Bay which can be salty. I live in Arkansas now from Pa. I miss my Sheetz. I was home to visit and got scammed, so when I got back too Arkansas my bank teller said are you sure Sheetz is not scammed? I said no it's my favorite gas station up home. O and your slushy would of been better at a bigger stores because they have different flavors of lemonade. My favorite is mix them. Watermelon lemonade, peach lemonade and strawberry lemonade. How I miss them.😊

KBD do a stealth camping from your home driveway. Order food thru Door Dash, Grub Hub or Uber Eat. What ever you have in Canada! Sounds like fun to me!

I have never seen a gas station with a self check out nor a drive thru. Pretty cool! I hope they put one near me someday. Great job on the videos. Interesting stuff!

Here in Atlanta, we have a pretty large chain called RaceTrac with self checkout. They have a decent kitchen with similiar items to Sheetz, like Pizza, Roller Hotdogs and Taquitos. They also have hot boiled peanuts.

It's surprising that car parks aren't monitored around the clock by video surveillance to deter unwanted overnight stays. Unfortunately, not all van lifers show respect for their surrounding environment.

I love Tremors. It;s a classic. Been watching it atleast 1 every 3 to 4 years since it first came out. As for dreaming after watching a movie or tv series, yes I have seen myself as captain of the USS Enterprise, fighting aliens, you know LLAP. And at times watching horror movies back to back has given me strange dreams of zombies & ghosts and other monsters.

Breakfast with the croissant and potato thingies looked the best. I tend not to order steak because you never know how it will come out. Fast food is not in our repertoire these days, but there are two local diners we rotate and give business to. Generally breakfast is our favorite to order out. Great stealth mini-series. Now go home and see Carole.

Next time you go somewhere that has white vinegar, grab extra packs and put them in moose for times you have onion rings or onion petals and somewhere doesnt offer them

Sheets is a hit or miss with hot food. I had a cheese burger with an everything bagel ( customized), and I really liked it. Onion pedals aren't available where I am. I would love to try them ( minus the salt ).

Anytime you see Onion Petals on a menu, you have to get those! They are my go to. I like them better than fries. And always get the petal sauce with them (thousand island dressing). And Tremors is an awesome movie
