Im glad they are starting to speak up about the actual mental illnesses the guests have and contact actual professionals about it to actually try to solve the problem. It makes the show alot more greater than it already was :).

Yerin's big brother is so supportive, it warms my heart. The mom means well, but she does need to back off and watch her wording. I hope Yerin opens up, she seems like a sweet kid.

Seriously, if parents aren't prepared to treat their children equally why have more the one child in the first place? :(

For the first concern as her husband and older son said she must give Yerin the time to open up and be comfortable to speak to them. She sound like a good students (even the teacher said it) and she's extremely cute and she did well during the show, if the mother steps back and not push her she'll do good. As for the third concern, the older sister is too aggressive, she's old enough to do everything ,they are others who need attention of the middle sister. Also the mother needs to stop taking sides with the older sister, is not the older sister privileged, is a family responsibility to take care of the house and members equally.

I relate to Yerin so much when I was in the 4th grade I didn't have any friends since everyone in the class knew me as the quiet one. They would ask me "Why are you so quiet." That question bothered me a lot and it made me cry. The teachers would ask me a question and I try to say the answer out loud but they some how couldn't hear me, they told me again and I couldn't say it since it gave me lot of pressure. And right now I'm in the 10th grade and the confidence is slowly getting to me and I talk a lot more. It breaks my heart seeing her going through this, it will take time for her shyness to go away and nervousness as well. I wish her the best in having a lot of confidence in her self. YERIN FIGHTING!! ❤

Yerin is such an adorable human being but her classmates, her brother and the teacher really made me feel so touched!! Even though they're so young the patience they portray when they speak to her is soso sweet :') Yerinahh stay strong hopefully you will become more confident as time passes and don't blame yourself everyone goes at different pace.

I loved how they were so patient with her and waited for her to be comfortable without pushing her too much. I'm sure she'll eventually start opening up more. She's so cute too.

😢😢😢 yerin I was crying when I heard the 1st concern it felt like I was seeing my younger self 😳 I was exactly like that very insecure and couldn't talk to any stranger I was only comfortable at home with my family ... I still am like that though I did try my best to overcome my fear of meeting and socialising with new people still it's really hard ... 😟 the scary thing was that I didn't trust anyone even my family and I never had any friends at school and all the kids were whispering and saying I couldn't talk even though I tried my best to talk and speak out but there was no sound coming out of my mouth ... I am now in university but whenever am nervous or anxious I can't speak I literally freeze on the spot and I loose my voice 😖 it's such a scary thing to deal with and there is honestly no one that understands how I feel or what I deal with among my friends or relatives 😔 but really everything the MC'S stated was right the fact that the other kids said she couldn't speak the moment anyone new approached her was one of many reasons she didn't get the chance to speak and her mother pushing her all the time 😧 ... I just hope yerin has much better childhood than I did 🙆 YERIN!! FIGHTING

I think the 3rd concern was left unsolved unlike the other 2 problems. The older sister obviously needs to be less aggressive because she makes the 2nd oldest seem lesser to the other sisters as well. The mom also needs to stop being so aloof and give her daughter some credit and love.

Kim Jeonghoon, Hwang Chiyeul, and Choi Taejoon together in the same episode...my eyes have been blessed.

The way that last concern ended made me feel somehow. I know when you have older siblings they can be kinda bossy and order you around but her sister seems like kind of a bully. I feel like they just looked over her because she's cute I dunno but she needs to tone it down, the part where she said she thinks her sister needs to experience more hardship almost made me swear.

Sad to say this but the woman in the second concern should divorce as soon as possible, her husband is too self-centered, immature, and dangerous for her to handle.

Yerin has a great taste in men I must say 😂 I think what Yerin needs is someone who will talk to her, even if she doesn't answer them at first. If the same person sticks with her and keeps talking to her she'll eventually gain the confidence to open up and talk more. The person doesn't *have* to ask questions cause that will do nothing but make her uncomfortable but if the person talks to her everyday about.. Anything Yerin will eventually start talking too. Said person could talk to her about idols, actors, their day etc. Thats all she needs to gain the confidence to start talking

that last concern though..... there's clearly side taking in the family

It was actually really touching to see everyone be so supportive of the first girl. She has a great brother, and I was happy that her mom seemed to be so open to receiving the criticism; it looked like she actually thought about her brother's words and agreed with them. I'm encouraged.

The first concern was super relatable. 😭😭😭. I kept crying. It wasn't that I never talked but I still had selective mutism and it sucks when people say we can't talk! That's so stupid, of course we can. 😒 😒 😒 I just hope Yerin doesn't get bullied in the future. FIGHTING! 💪 💪 💪

I have so much respect for the big brother from the 1st concern. Many others would probably be either emberassed or tease her the way others do. But he truly cares for her, you can not only see it from his actions but also from the way he speaks & looks at her. It already started showing just from the way he slightly helped her with putting the mic closer to her. You can really feel his love for his little sister & his will to protect her. And the fact that he actually asked his mother to go easier on her & pressure her less just shows that once again. I bet every Girl wants a big brother like him, to protect her.

Is nobody going to mention the fact that Kim Jeonghoon hasnt AGED A DAY since Goong? and omg he still has his sweet and gentle voice I cant

i was exactly like yerin when i was younger. i used to study at a small school, then for middle school i started at a big one. it was first day of class, i was still unfamiliar with the new environment, and one moment i really wanted to go pee. it took me a while to gather courage and walk towards the teacher to ask for permission, but a lot of the kids were asking to go out too and then the teacher just yelled "no one is leaving to use the bathroom anymore!" i got traumatized and then ever since i couldnt speak a word at school. because i couldnt talk, i got bullied a lot. my parents would pressure me a lot too, they even once forbid me to watch tv as punishment. i cried and cried... i dont know how i could stay like that for 3 years, then i finally moved to another school and began talking. i'd say even now i still fear people and avoid talking to them, i am not a very confident person, i have a very introvert personality, sometimes talking to me can be very awkward lol but i got a lot better over time. my current situation is i finished university and i am working as a product analyst now at a bank. my job requires interacting with a lot of people, i dont really like that but it is a great way to try to improve and i've been improving little by little! i thank God and my friends for helping me through all these. for those who are in the same situation, dont feel discouraged! fighting, there is a light at the end of the tunnel!

I can relate to Yerin's problem a lot. It was like that for me too until I was in grade 3, I couldn't talk to a lot of people outside of my home because it was nerve racking being out of my element. It's not easy to become comfortable in your surroundings, but I will be rooting for Yerin that her condition improves overtime. I think she has decent friends that will make her not be uncomfortable anymore and she will be able to communicate more openly with her teachers and adjust to the environment.

The fact that she was brave enough to speak on national tv blows my mind. I feel like this was her first big step toward conquering selective mutism, & I hope she’s doing well today 🔥❤️

The friends', family's and teacher's support was really touching in the first concern! I sincerely hope that Yeri can get passed her struggles to talk in the situations she finds it hard to do so right now.

the second concern made me burst into tears even at the start.. i am a big fan of hello counselor and have watched a LOT of concerns but this is the first concern that made me cry so much..maybe because i have experienced this also for half my life..even thought i am getting more social nowadays i still get the moment when feel like wanting to cry/yell in frustrations whenever getting bullied(made fun) by my classmates and friends its just that i am getting better of hiding how i feel..Yerin is very fortunate for having a brother, father and mother that are that are so loving and caring towards her.. Yerin ah i hope you can get better !! also dont feel intimidated by those ignorant and un sensitive old classmates of yours they are just a bunch of small kids that makes mistakes maybe they will realize what they did was wrong after seeing you here :-)

Yerin might be suffering from social anxiety from an early age? I know I had it when I was 16 years old when I finished school then started a new college and I was more reserved, quieter than ever. Then I realised that I seriously needed help after I had a scary panic attack on the train when I was 18. 😑 I feel sorry for her, it is difficult to speak to people you're not use to and yeah I know how it feels because it sucks not knowing how to speak to your classmates when you want to but your brain doesn't respond in a social situation. It doesn't matter what age you are but when your extremely shy that can be a tricky boundary to break when you want to be a little more easy going. I'm glad she's getting professional help for her to come out of her shell. I wish her luck. 🌟

I don't know exacly how Yerin feels but I can imagine. She seems to be very nice, smart and have good talk... but she has problems talking to people and that must to be very sad to her because she must want to talk about things that she likes but she can't! The first concern was so sad. It was like looking in the mirror. I have severe social anxiety to the point where I wouldn't ask for help if I was bleeding out in fear of burdening others. I really hope that little girl comes out of her shell. Taking therapy helps it improve a bit but family is what really helps.

About the third concern: I have personally dealt with the same thing as I have five siblings me being the second oldest. My big sister use to order me around too, of course I complained but I still did it. My parents never stopped her nor encouraged her to continue, so I dealt with this until she went to college. All I have to say is deal with it until she moves out lol. Honestly, this isn't a big deal.

I dont get it. The mom said that the older sister has a sense of responsibility so she doesnt scold her a lot but the concerned sister does every chore. Shouldnt the mom step up and tell the older sister off if she really isnt favoring. If i had been one of those sibling i would be so pissed off and treat that older sister the way she treats the others. I also have a lot of sibling and even if the try to act up and sometimes order me around they dont get away with it. Fuck age! If you cant respect your own sibling then fuck off. There is a limit to ordering them around.

I completely understand the last concern. There r 8 children in my family, I'm the 4th one and I have encountered many situations where my parents told to endure it cuz I'm nicer they just say leave it she's like that. They say it without realizing, just blunt words but they hurt a lot, my oldest sister has been told that she's nicer so she should endure it sooo many times and it hurts seeing my sister(s) hurt. Since in our family kids were born one after another there wasn't much of a gap between two children so my oldest sister didn't get her portion of love, not only her but most of us haven't received a lot of love. But we can't say anything cuz that'll hurt our parents. At the end of the day family is family, they have a love-hate relationship. I hope her mom gives her the love she deserves. FIGHTING!! 😊

I saw my younger self in the 1st concern. My mum used to get similar complaints from many of my teachers all the way upto my 8th grade. I managed to somehow work through my difficulty to speak, but even now, at 20 I tend to have trouble speaking up in certain. scenarios.

The 1st concern reminded me of when I was in kindergarden for 2 years, i'm a *extremely* talkative person, very very extroverted, but when I went to kindergarden It was all just scary the new environment and people. So for two whole years I never said a single word in there, nothing, not hi not my name, nothing. So after 2 years they called my mum and told her that maybe she needed to take me to a doctor. She was so shocked because the moment I got home I would barely shut up, I just talked and talked for hours. I still remember the day I finally decided say something, my thoughts were, "should I? I don't know........well......whatever! " so I spoke and kept speaking from that day. Even know when I tell my friends that I didn't talk much when I was younger, they refuse to believe me, joking about the first thing I did the moment I was born wasn't cry, it was talking for hours😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I don't think the third concern is a big worry BUT the whole situation could still be improved. When she's older the second daughter will understand but she could start understanding more immediately and avid a lot of negative feelings if her sister and mother put more effort into being more consciderate of her.
