I really like the fact that the man kidnapping is just that very friendly looking, kinda young guy. It's actually quite a wake up call to parents watching since usually people just expect at least slightly suspicious looking people to be kidnappers

Just to follow-up on that. It's been proven that the huge majority of kidnappings are committed by family members or people close to the family.

i think both of bumsoo and his wife are very good at taking care their kids and in smart way. we can see thru kids behavior. they always listen and act well with their parents. seoul is smart, good in english and can take care her lil bro even she is still young. such a reliable sister. i love soda siblings 😊

I was so shocked with Soeul's reaction that I can't cry though I seriously wanted, and I already feel like crying. Even more so when the missing kids' picture appeared. I hope they will be found. 😭💔

it must've been so hard for the dad. She reacted really well. When I was about Daeul's age, I was at the laundromat with my family. My parents were carrying the laundry back to the car and my sister and I were about 10 feet behind them. A man approached us and whispered for us to get closer to him. I was SO close to taking a step towards him when my older sister, about Seoul's age yanked me and ran to our car. So yes, it must've been hard for the dad to see this, knowing he implemented the experiment but it is important. Seoul's crying was low-key disturbing but I was glad seeing at how she sensed what the situation could have been. Lovely girl :)

Soeul not just well educated, she has strong sense too. She automatic feels the guy is not a good guy and want to do smthing bad to her. She doesn't judge his good looks, she's following her intuition.. Im proud sister.

The last part with the report of the 3 kids had me crying so bad. So young... I really wish they found them, I don’t know the probabilities there but where I live are against and it breaks my heart.

When i was five years old. I got lost in the mall. I was so shocked when I realized im not holding my father's hand. But just like what my parents told me "never panic" "ask for help" "but not with strangers" so what I did is, i didn't panic at all. I didn't cry. I approached the security and told them that i am lost. And he bring me into their office and ask my parents name and also my name. And they gave me a paper and colors. To relax myself and after 1 hour my dad is already outside the office. I was so thankful to my parents for teaching me how to manage hard times.

Shocks the second child was born on 2003 and he went missing on 2006 so his 3 years old but what the hell we have the same age now im already 13 this year ghad sake

Nerisse Angel Peñaranda Despite that, it just shows you how young a child could be when they're abducted. That example is used as emphasis towards the topic. A missing child is a serious matter, regardless of when it happened.

tears in my eyes when she cried and ran off. she was visibly scared, and KNEW something was wrong and TOTALLY could sense that man had bad intentions-i know its only acting- its really suck they filmed this experiment on her...poor little girl....i stopped watching RofS, hopefully she was calmed down...for a little girl to feel unsafe and terrified, even her dad tried to console, she would still feel shaky inside her, and probably for days...such unpleasant feeling.... :(

i understand that you feel bad about the experiment that they did but this is how their dad would know how their children will behave in real situations in order for them to educate their kids about the things that they need to continue doing and what they could have done better, this is also helping other parents know how to educate their own children in this situation because it is for their own good ! this is to help their children on how to keep themselves safe when their guardian is not around .. i dont know if you watched the whole thing but concept of this scene is to help lessen and if possible avoid the numbers of missing children reported daily not just in korea but also all over the world !

I think its a great teaching moment. The parents talked and explained it to the kids what they did right and wrong afterwards. IMO It's better to experience it the first time under controlled environment because then, you will have time to consider the rights and the wrongs. Like when daeul agreed to the same pleasant looking guy, he obviously doesn't associate "strangers" with pleasant smiling looking people). Thank God its been corrected in case the real thing happens right? If it happens again and its for real the next time, they already know what to do.

Seol is so cute. My sister is her age I taught her a secret password so if a stranger says they know our mom and dad, they wont know it and thats how she knows that someone is trying to abduct her. Also taught her some self defense and escape tactics. Jut had a guy try to approach the kids at vacation bible school and I stood there bug eyed with hands on my hips and asked who he was. Turns out he was drunk.

I was instantly reminded of the movie HOPE related to Na Young. This show does a great job of giving parenting tips. Never loved anything more. In the movie, the girl talks about the dilemma of helping a person in need. Her innocence was palpable.

Whether you like children or not, hearing Soeul’s frightened crying is a heart stopping and tear wrenching moment. She did good and is well educated, I hope more parents take note that not all kidnappers will be old gross people but sometimes well dressed charming young men or women.

Soeul is amazing. She's super smart and did the right thing in a situation like this. Say no, keep your distance, and go to a trusted adult. Love this girl. Hope she and Daeul remain safe from real situations like this.

When she runs to her dad when he comes back with the ice-cream feels so heartbreaking... She's just a baby, but she's very smart honestly speaking... I've noticed this about her, even though she's young because she's an older sister she always protects Daeul, but she also knows when to say no and takes care of herself very well~! She's so smart, props to Bumsoo & his wife for raising such a smart young lady~!

Thinking about the missing children really make my heart hurt as I have two nephews who are below 5 years old and still doesn't develop some communication skill. I still remember during my final year project, I try to develop children monitoring system by using smartphone. And gladly, my project get some attention from judges and have high potential eventhough it is still in prototype phase. Whenever I was working on it, I couldn't help but thinking about the poor children and their parents.

I love SoDa Siblings,I'm glad their parents taught her well,I was like Soeul too,I don't feel comfortable alone bc I'm scared that someone would kidnap me,I just learned it like when I was 3 4 or 5 I also feel uncomfortable talking to complete strangers. I'm 8 rn turning nine I'm glad that my parents thought me about it😊 And for her young age,she already knows that talking to strangers is dangerous.☺️

I shed tears along while I saw soeul screaming but got tears again when the video reach to the end. so sad the missing child still nowhere to be found :(

This was simply beautiful education! Dad raised her well about this subject. The running and screaming even made me feel bit flustered just watching it on tape. Imagine how the actor might have felt. She gave the man a good warning with her sudden reaction. It was perfect just like the woman also said.

her crying out loud was the best thing she should do. I would encourage screaming etc etc. First, the kidnapper wouldn't be expecting it. Hence he doesn't have enough time to think a thoughtful counter reaction. it will be quiet handful for the kidnapper to follow through with his/her plan smoothly now. Two, it will cause other people to look at that way. It is very important to let people know that you're in danger. Her running and finding an adult is really unexpected to me and she's very smart for doing that.

No, 2006 is the year he was missing. 3 yrs old was he’s age when missing (so, he born at 2003). But yeah, is still heartbreaking 😭
