That's the ONLY logical explanation I can think of in this situation, that would support the reason of him not loving his wife and treating her as such. And who wants to give a loser money he's going to blow on his amusement park habit and not support his wife and child (whom he can't remember the name of) that sort of money? She's never going to see any of that money for her or her child. So when they vote, they think, "Hey, if he wins, he's going to blow that money on his habit and her concern will get even more ignored." Probably why he came on the show was because of the promise of cash and he thought he could blow it on amusement parks. But I think they push to try to get over a certain number on things so that the person feels social pressure to change.

She won't need him anymore and it will also make her feel that so many people agree that this is a serious concern, so she'd probably take a better decision. Nah. A lot of the other men, at the end, admit they were wrong, or a little wrong, or say they will try to change or something. This is the only guy I've seen that doesn't know his kid's name, doesn't say he loves his wife (even if they usually don't mean it or show it they usually say it) and at the end doesn't even say he might change or he wants to change. The reason I keep watching this show is cos so often it shows people learning they were wrong and the catch up moments from sometimes very worrying concerns show how brilliantly people can change. BUT this genuinely seemed hopeless, even at the end. As far as I can remember, the concern with the most hopeless ending.

I was just thinking the same thing. I have never understood these concerns, why do they buy the tickets for the games? Why do they drive her there? Why do they let her rule their family like this? I honestly think it's a disgrace that the mother sent in this concern. It's YOUR fault, not your daughter's. I work a lot with Koreans and it always surprises me how much they let their kids run their household. I know it's a cultural thing, since the older generations went through so much hardships that they don't want their kids to suffer, thus treats them like this. However, this is parenting 101... There needs to be rules ...
