She was massively recognized after participating in Produce 101 and then finishing 2nd on the show. She debuted as a member of IOI with 10 other members and then debuted as a member of Gugudan with 8 other members. Position is main vocal for both groups and then face of the group for Gugudan. She debuted as a solo with her song "Flower Way", followed by her next solo, "Tunnel", three years after her solo debut. She also sang OSTs for Legend of the Blue Sea and Mr. Sunshine.
