- Cast : Kim Jiyoung, Ko Yeongbin, Seo Yujeong
- Synopsis : It's Jeonsuk and Jiho's daughter Hyejin's first birthday. Jeongsuk's university friends Sinja and Miseon comes to help her prepare the birthday party. Even Jiho's university friends comes to celebrate. Seonggi is a successful man and Dalsu's always careful around Seonggi. Gyeongu is in multi-level sales business and he comes already drunk. Gangho keeps reciting poems. They play go-stop and there seems to be some tension between Jeongsuk and Jiho. Also, Jiho and Jeongsuk's once-best friend, Gyeongju is about to come. It's supposed to be a happy day but it feels like a storm is approaching. Who will explode first?

It is not a story about what people do but about why they do it. When things do not work out the way you hoped, you get stress. And it may grow beyond your control. If you keep it inside, it may eat you from the inside, if you let it out, you may hurt others. It is never at good choice to have to make. The only thing you can do is hope, that your surroundings will forgive you, but it rarely happens (see also other comments to this drama). Only if you forgive, you may come out stronger than before the crisis.

this drama make me feel scare to grow up, especially to getting married. it's just like, "THIS IS THE REALITY ABOUT LIFE! REALITY TO PROOF THAT EVEN WHEN YOU REALLY LOVE EACH OTHER, MONEY ALWAYS COME FIRST" T___T

Wow...I gotta say...ths was really a great experiment at writing/ showing real life. Because isn't life like that? Aren't we all overwhelmed and surrunded by other folks who are overwhelmed? It's hard to do a real life story that rings true without the story falling into melodrama but am glad writer-nim tried. Thanks, KBS!

That family and circle of friends was downright frightening. How can anyone imagine being trapped in a marriage like that and not simply wanting to run away?

I didn't like the husband at all. I can't believe he tried to force himself on the friend, knowing she was gay and while she was screaming 'no'. The ending tried to get us to see him in a better light, but it didn't do anything for me. I still hate him even after watching the whole thing.

There is a outraging puritan moral in this movie : "divorce, abortion and homosexuality is bad." That's not the kind of thing teenagers should watch.

i think its important that young people not only see those "love is amazing, everything is fine" dramas. This One right here is happening in reality for 70% of all women in korea, being forced to marry a douchebag. thats sad

the ending is trying so hard to show some positivity that it makes no sense at all. the husband disgusted me, his friends disgusted me, seem like the baby is the only sane character in this twisted show. It is just too weird.

So... I was frustrated a lot throughout this film, but was really happy when the one girl was in love with the other. I called that. I just wish they could have ran away together or something. Too bad... :/

I needed the ending to show that the woman was cleared in the stabbing, he clearly did it to himself. Or at least him saying to someone that he stabbed himself and was drunk. Why are there no consequences for his violence toward the woman? I also was glad to see the little girl outside but the baby was likely in the bedroom while all that was going on. Did no neighbor hear all that, could the wife and baby sleep through all that? They lived in a perfectly fine apartment. They didn't appear poor at all. It really could have been a nice drama to show the aftermath of an abortion and that stuff didn't matter, that family mattered more. The divorced woman also was attacked. Is this how women are treated there? Do two men in six turn into predators when drunk? I don think so.

ugh the ending sucked!! (&spoilers) jiho shouldn't have been redeemed in the end, tbh it was total bullshit and i'm super unsatisfied i know this is a kdrama, so i shouldn't expect things to end in a more just way, but seriously after trying to sexually assault gyeongju and abusing jeongsuk (multiple times?), they literally played him off as an angel in the end when it's clear that he was a horrible hateful person. while i enjoyed that the drama was completely open to the lgbt+ community and didn't play off gyeongju as a monster or a horribly wrong person just because she was gay, not to mention the fantastic acting and good cast, the ending messed everything up. seriously kbs, you could have done so much better. not literally glorify abuse.

I knew from the beginning when that lady started talking about a love triangle that the friend who's visiting was gonna be gay and I kinda hoped she'd confess and save this lady from her monster husband. But instead I got a stinking pile of dog sh+t, thank you kbs for making me hate life

Blaming capitalism for the cause of this family's whole problem. I think Taiwan, South korea, and Japan have the same common problem among couples. It's always hard for couples to decide whether to have children. Even if couples do have children, sometimes they're left in the orphanage. Poverty is relative

Basically the theme was "getting trapped in what society / your family expects from you", I think. It was mentioned that in S. Korea people judge each other strongly whereas in the US nobody cares how you live. Personally I really disliked the men in this drama, they were either comedically dumb or abusive chauvinists.

Husband has played a very negative role. Though ending brings him in some positive light. He has chosen very poor character friends except one. But the fact is it is tough to raise kids without mutual understanding between parents. She aborted her baby with an excuse of lack of resources.. but even poorer parents raise their kids just with symphony in life. This drama also reveals sad fact that divorcee single(female), lesbians ,gay.... they have a long way to go to fetch same rights as others.

Every woman in that house got attacked or harassed. It the end it wasnt made clear what happened to the woman he tried to rape and then stabbed himself with her hand on the knife? There was abusive behavior in front of the daughter. It could have been a nice drama that showed how abortion effects the husband. But they had to make the lesbian character a person who had a twenty year old crush on a straight woman and then had her stab the woman’s husband? It was totally self defense for her and a bit suicide on the part of the husband. In all the scenes all we see is the rest of them. What happened to her?

Girl loved girl, girl loved a guy, that guy loved other girl. Why on earth did they portray the woman to be a killer? The guy stabbed himself and ended up in hospital. They left it assuming she was arrested for stabbing him. Why? There is no friendship in Korea. Just people you are stuck with cause you were in school together who you either benefit from or are used by them to gain benefit. The woman should have stayed away.

Charvi Singh It was indeed, the end was more positive though, somewhat unrealistic I'd say. Once people go down the path as the characters in the film, they don't come out of it.
