11 minutes in and Baek Jiyoung's personality is all kinds of awesome!

I love the show but I think it really needs one fixed female cast member to balance things out. Baek Jiyoung was fantastic - her spunky persona and banter with the guys (especially YJS) really elevated the show. Jiyoung (or another veteran female who is good at variety) would make such a great addition in increasing the chemistry between all the cast members.

Baek Jiyoung is so great. She's funny, sweet, and superbly talented. I really look up to her

Man I so love this show...What a great way for men to gather together and talk and laugh abiut issues that they are concerned about! Especially over there in Korea. Alot of variety shows don't normally like people to say what they really want too.

While I agree that there's a lot of pressure for Jiyoung in this episode, I'd like people to imagine if there was a "I am a Woman" show with a male guest... he'd get ripped to pieces. So I'd say Jiyoung is having a comparatively easy time. She's right about a lot of things she says, though, so that helps. Not sure if a 100 women would tolerate a man's opinion though, even if it's right. No offense meant to either gender. By the way, a lot of things said on this show are for entertainment purposes - don't take it too seriously.

I'm still so... amazed / shocked that.. men complain so much about marriage.. and being... 'imprisoned' and stuff.. like.. You think that GIRLS WOULDN'T FEEL IMPRISONED AND CAGED?!?!?! wtf?

the jokes by men about hating marriage are merely, jokes. we dont necessarily have to be upset about our marriage life, we just love to have a good laugh making fun of it and undermining it .it's a subtle way to project our masculinity among our peers. i know girls would think its ridiculous, well it is. but essentially it's just us guys having fun making jokes about it.

As expected - those well mannered hands by MC Yoo protecting JiYoung from those flying balls. That is why i love watching him and all the shows he's in :)

If men hate the thought of getting married so much there is a simple solution. Don't get married! Not only will you be unhappy you'll make the woman you marry unhappy if you only get married because society expects you to. Marriage isn't exactly a bed of roses for women either. I'm actually telling my daughters (and my son) not to get married and instead enjoy their lives. They probably won't listen to me but unfortunately they'll eventually realize I was right. I don't think very many married people are truly happy. I just read a survey that said the happiest people are single women, I believe it.

Quick question: why do men complain about getting married when they're the ones that propose...?

I'm not too sure I was happy about baek ji young being there. I feel like they couldn't really let go because she is set in her ways. I do like her, but I couldn't enjoy the maleness of this show with her there. They couldn't cut loose. But I was happy to hear from Kwon oh jung again^^

Do men not realize that women face the same worries about marriage? Women also lose their freedom and sense of self. It's like men want to stay boys and play and not have any responsibilities. Even when a woman has a job outside of the home she still does the majority of the housework and child care. How is that a great deal? Women lose just as much, if not more, when they get married.

kwon ohjung is the best addition to this show. his comments really make the show come alive =) also i love that they had baek ji yong here kkkk the men were very sweet to her, even protecting her from the balls when they were getting thrown. With the guys I can understand, you may love the girl, but you have a responsibility to *eventually* get married and have kids and have to make money to support all of them. you can't be independent or be who you are really, you have to worry about everyone else and that can be tough. ;]

i like how they reversed the guest entrances this time, with the male songs last and the goddess in first and this time for the whole show. especially since baek jiyoungs reactions were incredible.

i find this marriage topic fascinating and bizarre at the same time. everybody seems to realize its 2014 and still they seem to be stuck in 1914 or something. i dont even understand that so many people WANT to be married in the first place. and dongmin breaking up with that girlfriend because her mother didnt like him?? is everybody some kind of brainwashed in korea when it comes to relationships?

I think the format of having Baek Jiyoung sing then sit for the whole show was much, much better and added much more variety to the conversations. I do hope they eventually settle on this format for the whole series, but I'm sure they're experimenting a bit.

I am a man is a show of men, by men, for men.. But we welcome female viewers who secretly watch our show.. LOL

i wanna share my thoughts about this episode..this is actually a good show for women so they would know what the guys are thinking when they are in relationship with someone. i wanna focus on some issues though..its my own opinion and i hope every one men/women will understand what I'm trying to say. first would be that "men are scared to lose their selves" Baek jiyoung was right women have the same thought when we get pregnant and all..but we have to understand that MARRIAGE is about COMMITMENT and RESPONSIBILITIES that comes with it. LOVE and COMPROMISE, you don't have to change who u are or change ur partner, u need to accept each other no matter what ur partners past are. if u truly love that person we need to accepts each others flaws because thats part of who we are. easier said then done for sure but we have to learn to communicate our feelings honestly with each other, like baek jiyoung said say it if u feel sorry, it should not hurt your pride because ur talking to ur partner who understand you. second issue would be the "blood type", i know that in korea ur personality is based in your blood type, but i will say that its not...your personality is based on the environment ur living in. why because genes adapt to ur environment and it changes according to ur needs to survive in that kind of environment. blood type does not have to do anything to it,,,because not all type B are stronger..they have that personality because being stronger is required and we need to survive so our DNA or GENES change. i think we have to look for our real purpose in life not base on any blood or genes, but base on true love and the decisions that we made that makes us who we are at the moment. I really hope YU JAESEOK'S can read my comment and advice it to the man and women who are preparing to make a new chapters of their lives... FIGHTING I AM A MAN! KBS

PD nim, please dont let female guest on the stage for too long like this ep as in my opinion the female will make the show less meaning, actually as a female i understand baek ji young wanted to defend the women but at certain time it gets annoying as i want to know more about the male's perspective, maybe u can let the female guest be there on the last 15 minutes of the show,much better i think :) just my 2 cents

conclusion: Korea still has a looooooong way to go in terms of gender equality and women's rights. geez.

I feel like women get too sensitive when men mention marriage (I'm a girl btw) look at it this way a LOT of men get pressured into marriage especially in Asia they get threatened "no ring no sex" simple as that and again I'm not saying everyone is the same but there's a lot of that and women need to understand that not only our lives change cause we have to move in with him, cook, clean and give birth but their lives change too maybe not as drastic but it does and yes men do loose a lot of freedom that Goes both ways also they tend to be in most situations the bread winner and that adds pressure ! and no one is "brainwashed" if they want to wait to have sex how disrespectful I'm one of those people I want my first time to be with my husband that doesn't mean I'm "brainwashed!" I don't agree about most of their thoughts here, be it those men's or Jiyoung's thoughts. It's like each of them feel they've sacrificed the most, then complain about their partners. I don't think it's a good mindset for marriage.

I thought from the comments this episode was gonna be a patriarchal fest but, it turns out they are just discussing the worries and fears any HUMAN has about getting married and having much more responsibilities than when single. I don't know if they mentioned it in this show but women too (in general) go through the same things, men most of the time are just more blatant about it. (maybe the only problem I have is that if women did say what they thought, it might not be as well received because they are expected to be marriage positivists not marriage pessimists). Just my opinion though.

Sometime we being too much to judge people just by what they say. All I can say from what I watch from Korean show most of them actually badmouth about their wife, even Jaesuk.
