BTS CRAZE its pickled and when you put an egg yolk on hot rice it cooks it. Which gives the rice is lovely golden colour and a almost creamy flavour

I eat them raw quite often; just make sure to not let the insides of the egg touch the outside of the egg. That's probably the most hazardous part to it other than your eating utensils.

Pasturised eggs are usually fine. Japan eggs are pretty safe to eat raw, can't say the same for Korea but I'd think it's pasturised generally.

I think the US are one of very few countries using unpasteurized eggs, which is why they can't eat them raw. Most other places it's fine.

J J agree! US ones would be unsafe, but generally speaking over here in most of Asia it's safe

As a Japanese growing up in the us I ate raw eggs all the time and was fine lol. But yes, probably best to follow safety recommendations.

Also technically not raw, it's salted using soy sauce so it is 'cooked'. Kinda like how some types of sausages or ham are just salted and dried instead of being cooked with heat.

@@gameronna8600 Depends on your fridge and how you cook it. The lady in this video used a lot of 'fermentation'. This means her eggs were stored with a lot of salt - the soy sauce. Those can keep up to more than a month in the fridge. If you're talking about just eggs without anything - it would be advisable to eat it within 2 days to a week. Always make sure to smell them before you eat them though.

Banchans are made in bulk so you can have a little with meals you have. It’s alright she is not eating them all at once
