If you go to Macau, prepare to spend lots of money. Because people who go there are usually rich (most of our tourists are rich mainland Chinese who come for gambling) Prices are high. There are a lot of places that are cheap but only locals go there. The ones in tourists spots are way too expensive. Also don’t book a trip for more than a week. Most to make your trip not feel boring is 2-3 days. Macau is a very small place and it doesn’t take long for you to explore. I recommend Senado square, ruins of Saint Paul, Macau tower, Taipa hill, old Taipa, flower city, Haksa beach(idk how to spell), the multiple temples, Panda park, museums if your only there for the heritage places and the outdoors. Again not many things to see. And if you’re planning on staying at a hotel, make sure to have a friend who works there. For example normal price in Parasian (Paris-like Hotel with a small Eiffel tower out front) is 2000+ MOP for a small room and only one night. But if you have a friend who works there you can get it down to 600 MOP. Also don’t go on Chinese New Year. It’ll probably be all booked and your friend won’t be able to get a discount. You won’t be planning to go right now anyways because of nCoV. Macau is basically a ghost town right now

I’ve been to Macau for a day. But I only stay in Venetian.

I just returned from Macau this morning for the weekend. Not because of battle trip, it was a last minute decision, bought the ticket on last tuesday and flew last Friday night for my first time in Macau. I'd say it's strange to re-watch this as I went to to senado square and the ruin of st paul. Often things do look better on tv than real life. There is an inaccuracy in her information, but nothing major. That durian ice cream was good! I didn't know it was that shop featured here. THe portion was smaller but tasted much better and less expensive than the one near the ruin. The cup version didn't taste good. I also ate durian egg tried but nothing special (durian ice cream is double the price than durian egg tart) then I tried the famous lord's stowe egg tart at Taipa village,tbh I'm not a fan, the good thing about it is the pastry is very crispy however the egg part is so so. Didn't even try the beef jerky/check out the price. Then after I saw the price here, wow it's so expensive. Then again, hotel and food are most expensive in Macau. 2 days in Macau was enough. For my third day I was running out of ideas and because the weather was so humid and hot I just gave up on outdoor and went to the malls.

I hate it when people who are not used to eating durian gives... Reaction Comments on durian. It's just annoying. It reminds me to not do the same to other people's delicacies coz it will hurt them too. Can't people just eat the durian and if you don't like it... don't eat it.

People said to me there was no point going there its only famous for gambling and there were not many options on halal food because i'm a muslim..but I still love it one of the best 36hours experience.
