Rumour has it that machine is still working on the same tree 13 years later...
@stevenfan1218 Жыл бұрын
In order for that machine to work properly. It has to have constant weight to work properly.meaning keep piling it on.whats on top will push it down.

About as exciting as watching paint dry

This is called a retirement machine you throw the stump in when it's done you're retired !
@woodgrinderguy10603 жыл бұрын
I'm i the only guy screaming at the operator to put more shit in the hopper or reposition the damn stump! Properly fed the dopstatt is a awesome shredder
@arkansastrash32014 жыл бұрын
kinda slow seems like that would use a lot of disel just for one tree stump?
@GtiGraedske3 жыл бұрын
You need three weeks to shred a whole tree
@CaptCaveman37910 жыл бұрын
Is he trying to break the machine??? He needs to load more wood in this so the machine doesn't keep kicking the stump around when the hammers hit the wood
@daveycrocket48734 жыл бұрын
Another couple pieces of wood in there to help the stump move around a bit would have been better
@jarikosonen4079 Жыл бұрын
It could be hard to tell what is optimal blade diameter and design... The roots seem to be bouncing a lot in this design, even getting shredded eventually. Can this woodwaste be used later or only for composting? Can it be combined with the chipper? It looks like shredding the roots is quite slow and they are bouncing a lot in almost all the machines there is.

I bet that was pretty expensive to shred that trunk?
@50AHenry8 жыл бұрын
Don't want to be unkind, but the machine did seem to spend a lot of time not doing very much.

That’s how they work similar to a tub grinder there’s no feed wheel and you get the best performance with a lot of material on top that holds the material on the bottom in hard contact with the mill and its teeth. There tealy suited to stumps and other awkward shapes rather than logs which suit horizontal grinders or chippers etc.

I’d be willing to bet the union workers love this machine because they get lots of sit around time watching how slow this thing is.
@EYorks5 жыл бұрын
Fair enough maybe would have put some other material in with it but impressive non the less! Alternatives are buying a tub stump grinder for the odd stump ( expensive) or paying £130 a ton landfill.

That machine isn't designed for large stump shredding I would say.

That machine isn’t really designed to do anything

Yeah if I had a Doppstadt I’d be looking for another way to shred that stump too!

Cant the crane operator pick it up?
@erdmannchenontour84882 жыл бұрын
Da hätte ich als Chef, Schnappatmung bekommen. Zeit und Diesel vergeudet, da hätte man sicher und der Zeit noch paar schaufeln dazu kippen können....

If he had put another heavy pice on top of it then it would have worked better.
@paulwilliams85555 жыл бұрын
Seems like the operator is getting paid by the hour. Obviously, the shredder isn't made for large stumps so he's gotta help it along.Why not throw other debris in to help? Operator is owner's son.

With only one barrel, its really slow and inefficient. I think theMorbark or Raptor would have been done by now.
@DarkVoidIII3 жыл бұрын
You might think that, but I just watched a video recently of the Morbark working stumps and it was almost as long as this video. Shredders don't magically shred logs or stumps fast, they work slow on them and require a properly fed hopper.

Wow, you got ripped off if you purchased that piece of junk we rent an ARJES XXL when our back lot filled up with green waste. We turn it into mulch, then compost it. Small organic farmers love it. I could have done a dozen hardwood stumps (most likely more) in the time it took you to do those two little pieces. You’re losing money with that machine’s output. What’s it rated at, 20 stumps an hour 😂

don't blame the machine, blame the useless operator for not using the right tool, no wonder the end product is so expencive.

Cette machine n'est pas très performante ! This machine is not very powerful !

Ain't gonna do it. To hard
@franklinbrooks95067 жыл бұрын
You have to choke the input much more to get proper performance. This is a terrible video. Makes the machine look utterly impotent.
@westerntraveler28354 жыл бұрын
Cancel the orders for this type of machine; not worth the time it takes to shred 1 tree stump. Other machines can do it better and faster!
