One of my favorite covers of a Twice song so far. fromis_9 really captured the essence of Twice by being energetic and fun rather then trying to be "cute". What really bothers me about groups covering Twice is that they overdo the cutesy thing, because while Twice are cute, they are often more energetic and upbeat then they are cutesy. It's a very fine balance which is what keeps Twice's songs and Twice as performers from being cringy and makes it seem natural. Twice also have a combination of people singing in a cutesy style (for example Momo and Sana), smooth soft voices (for example Mina) and broader voices (for example Jeongyeon and Jihyo) which also creates a nice balance which often gets lost in covers as the groups focus on the "cute" thing. I love fromis_9 so I am biased, but as someone who has been a Once since pre-debut and pre-fandom name (since Sixteen) I honestly think fromis_9 captured that balance and essence the best out of any cover I have seen.

Very well said! There is so many different layers within TWICE that the casual listener will never pick up on. But once (no pun intended) you do, it shows you how special they truly are! And kudos to fromis_9 for such an amazing cover of LIKEY! Can't wait for their comeback; 4 days away!

Their voice is really good in this song. Some members have a very strong voice that is suitable for many different concepts. I'm interesting when I hear their voice for the first time. They'll definitely be a famous girlgroup in the future if their company have a reasonable strategies, I hope

Yes. Twice has cute and bright concepts but their expressions and stage presence are more natural.. I see a lot of people saying twice have easy dances, but other groups who cover Twice usually are either too forced/cringey or lacking energy. Fromis9 did good with this one

the remix sounds so bad!!! they could've given more lines to the girls to make their personalities shine through. the chorus part wasn't hyped up as well, i was just waiting for some explosiveness but there wasn't any 🥺 our girls deserve better!
