I have friends that work at a commercial pot farm, over ten acres of outdoor grow. They say the amount of fertilizer and pesticides they use is amazing. Grow your own.

Whats wrong with fertilizer? You'll need to use some if you grow your own. Pesticides are also not a bad thing. There's many substances that are poison to insects and completely harmless to humans. DE, Garlic, extracts. Don't be fooled by scientific names for common items.

the most important reason i grow my own...you know exactly what is in it also, you get to pick the strain you want, not just what is avail, and learning to grow stuff is a good skill to have

Personally, I think everyone should get to choose the half dozen or so strains that work best for them and be given seeds for each to cultivate their own medicinal herb garden at home, no middleman. Plenty will still want the convenience of ready-made... But those who use cannabis with Intention would always have what they need, when they need it, and would not have to worry about quality or sourcing...

The news said 91% of California's 2023 harvest was contaminated with mold or pesticide. Now the rest of the country has tons of $100 an oz weed and a flood of concentrates and California weed business owners have bricks of $100 bills but zero evidence of destroyed contaminated weed...I wonder what happened?

Worked for a company that received literally tons of pesticde-free cannibis for testing and the amount of insects this stuff had was insane!! I know coworkers who set aside pounds for personal use that never ended up taking the stuff cause it was plain infested with bugs!!
