The situation wasn't about being a role model. It's about respect for your team mate. It was a heated moment and he made a mistake, he thought his ego was bigger than the team and he was a partial reason the best player on the team left and cost them championship titles. That's a teachable moment. You're never too big to apologize.

Let's call it like it is: this was just a way for Donkey Green to absolve himself from guilt- "You didn't leave because of *ME* right?" Also ponder this: do you REALLY think someone that notoriously attacks fans on social media from burner accounts is going to tell the truth in camera all of a sudden?! In front of the actual perpetrator no less?! 🙄 KD has said quite a few times now that he never felt like he was needed on the Warriors; it was always going to be Steph Curry's team, and he couldn't accept that. Why did this not become big news back when KD said this exact same thing on the All The Smoke podcast with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson? Almost word for word the same exact answer from KD lol. Maybe it's not the truth, but this is old news by now lol
