cap. We had injuries too. Bogut. Ezeli and Iggy all were hurt. Iggy had back spasms and still tried to play. but our rim protectors were gone. When we were healthy it was 3-1. the moment Dray got suspended Bogut and Ezeli got hurt game 5 and Ky and LeBron got off.

And do YOU remember what happened in game 4? LeBron stepped over Draymond which made him react. LeBron bitched and complained after game 4 which resulted in Draymond’s suspension for game 5. And Draymond missed game 5 which made the whole GSW players to be out of sync. Due to this issue, the whole GSW team were out-of-sync which resulted in their loss of the 2015-16 season.

No they needed KD off OKC. Andre Iguodala said that year that the only team that had a real chance of taking them out was OKC. Lebron and Kyrie had one of the best finals series in NBA history the way they came back, but the biggest threat to the warriors that season was OKC.

How is this still a narrative that exists?! You're telling me that a team that was up 3-1 on the Cavs and lost only due to exceptional circumstances/ historical performances from TWO players at the same time couldn't have won at least one more?! Especially since the Cavs actually regressed a little bit. KD was the one who wanted to make things easier for him so he joined the team that beat him and only focussed on basketball. He didn't have to lead, didn't have to worry of locker room chemistry, didn't have to worry about players being selfish. Those two years were basketball utopia for him.

Without KD they would have been the Spurs. Always in the mix, probably with the same amount of chips. The LeBron comeback didn't just shock the players it shocked the organization as a whole. So they made a decision that handicapped their team, long term.

And they come back. On paper it's impressive, but with context it's impressive that the warriors were up 3-1 with a full healthy cavs team and an injured steph. remember the year before, the warriors "only won cuz kyrie and love were injured." I hate this narrative that KD stopped a 3 peat for the Cavs. To blow a 3 - 1 lead you had to be good enough to go up 3 - 1 in the first place. …To be fair they did very well in game 1. The cavs would have won if JR wasn’t a goof and there’s no telling what they would have done with that momentum. Without KD, they probably wouldn’t have beat a healthy cavs team. They were getting smacked by the Spurs even with KD until Kawaii got hurt.
