GENZ already got what they were agitating for and the bill has been rejected. Now if we remove Ruto, who is going to take over? We have 3 options gachagua, the military or people fighting to be the president and we are in a civil war? The history of removing leaders from power forcefully has not worked well in Africa. Kenya has much to safe. its not a basket country yet but continued protests agitating for the removal of Ruto is not the right way to go. NO investor will want to invest in Kenya. Today Ethiopia leads in foreign direct investment in East frica.And continued protetests will drive investors to Ethiopia. AGOA will move most of their manufacturing to Ethiopia. Then see the number of Kenyans trying to move to Ethiopia seeking for jobs. Thats the reality. Zaire still sufffering from Mobutu removal, Sudan wish today they could have had their dictator compared to what they have now a non existent country run by gangs, haiti where we sent our troops as had change of guard ever since haiti became a country and the country has never found peace. Libya has never found peace after the removal of Gadaffi. Remember there are people right now taking advantage of the situation. People like Bobby Owino and other oppisition leaders can not wait to take power after losing elections. We can not hand them power the easy way they have to go to the ballot. No matter who takes over the presidency be it a GENZ or anyone they still will be faced by paying off the debt. Why would a GENZ leader want to have to deal with a basket economy and then the pressure mounts by folk demanding jobs and services. Without a functioning economy, no investors will come to create jobs, kill the tourism industry which employs a million people what economy will a GENZ preside over? GENZ needs to start orgainizing themselves into a politcal force ready for 2027. In the meantime they can demand for reforms like on corruption every quarter the auditor general reports are like crime scenes. Why not demand that parliament pass a law whereby Auditor general reports be the basis for prosecution. Once the reports are out they go directly to the investigative agencies. Those mentioned step aside ASAP. A dedicated team will be created to deal with only all govt corruption from national to county govt. Investigations and prosecutions to take 3 months. Right now we are in a Mob mentality. But when things settle then the hard and painful road to recovery starts and it would be worse than what we have today. Don't throw out the baby with the birth water. kenya has alot going for it with a few tweaks here and there we can get to where we want. Right now people have lost jobs by destruction of property the very same thing GENZ were agitating for JObs. What Gives. A peacefull transition of power must never be compromized.
