“Hip rolling”, is evident in many cultures, and is neither masculine, nor feminine. It’s just another expression of dancing, controlling the body. Western “civilization”, has us out here sexualizing women, and dismissing masculinity for simply moving our bodies. These dancers, are a treasure.

*The first gentleman made me swoon!! Those thunder thighs and powerful calves are everything!!* I recently watched the video on the history of Men's Hula. The young man on the left of the screen (throughout most of the performance) is featured and interviewed. The discipline required of these young men is great. Their exercise goes from the ocean to the top of coconut trees using only what nature provides for equipment. Their endurance is definitely tested. *Everyone on that stage - including the musicians and the singer - has my deepest respect. The performance was fire! And flawless.* 👏🏽🔥

@Bidu Bidu they always danced. Caucasus dance, traditional Russian dances and many more from all the nations in Russia. Almost all of it is washed out. And russian men aren't manly, they're just rude for the most part. The culture with the influence of politics made people bitter, demoralized and self-conscious. That's why the deep connection and pride is mostly lost and switched for hollow arrogance. No hate, but I feel sorrow for this loss. However nothing is set in stone and there is always a possibility for a good change.

@Bidu Bidu dude just watch Georgian dance, they fight with SWORDS. But honestly I think in the end it's a matter of opinion. I personally think if someone has a nerve to dance with passion and further more go through intense training and make these moves it's manly as hell, I don't care what dance it is. Plus, masculinity is different in many cultures, maybe in the west people have different views on it. But personally I find dancing men manly as many women too , that's why stereotypes about cool tango dancers for example exist

I love watching this. The dance is incredible the singer almost puts me in a trance. Those dancers look awesome. It's probably weird but i find their control and centeredness and focus so sexy

Hello...big and warm greetings from cold and distant St. Petersburg. I spent a long time watching national dances from Hawaii. And, only yours from 2010 was the best... and professional, plus you had the best physical data. I know....that you have been engaged in professional teaching for a long time....But, no one can compare with your friend at the very beginning....and after the leading broad-shouldered dancer....Very heavy load when dancing in a squat ...I haven’t seen anything like this since then....Only. understanding people will appreciate your great work...☺😉
