Simply beautiful. I was crying before the song started. The "I LOVE YOU" in the end was even more beautiful. I say there's no life without the person you love ...

this type a pain never goes away. just when you think you're o.k a wave of intense hurt comes over you and you realize you still really need that person but they're not here and there's nothin' you can do about it.. and it happens during some trivial moment like school shopping for your son you suddenly burst into tears cause you realize this time last year your mom was here helping you telling how many sizes to go up for "growing room".
@TheSpookyDuke6 жыл бұрын
I know it's not the same, but one can feel similar waves about alienated person or unfulfilled love. I feel them both with two persons that are alive and well, but the pain is there, always.

I was a nurse for a long time and this song captures the confusion. I've got a 2 year old child now and 'everyone's changing' is spot on. If I can give a bit of nursy advice; if someone you love has died then they don't care about your last comment or failure to turn up. They love you anyway

Dieses Video sollte veröffentlich werden... es berührt das Herz und verursacht Tränen des Trauers um die Verstorbenen... sehr gutes und schönes Lied.

Bravo for Mr. Pellington and his support group for letting us in on such raw emotions. We must be thankful for all we have here on earth because we never know when it will be gone from us. Completely heartbreaking. Keane's song fits the subject matter perfectly.
@aticanxi15 жыл бұрын
Truly touches our basic and primal emotions. Emotional pain and loss are unique to humans on earth, but so are our love and connections with each other. "You say you wander your own land, but when i think about it i dont see how you can." Brilliant.

It's testimonials from people who are left behind after losing their loved ones, left to as you said, "work out where they are in the world". The ones who died have indeed gone off and are doing different things. I thought it was a perfect song to showcase the pain that grief causes and how challenging it is for those of us who are left behind to make it after their gone.

The past years I've lost my grandmother, my second cousin and two friends. Though this had it's impact on me, I can't even begin to imagine how it would be to wake up next to the love of my life in bed, but she doesn't wake up that morning. Though it is better to celebrate that our lost ones lived than to mourn their passing, noone should be ashamed to cry, ever. I cried nearly every second of this video. Thank you.
@MrsRat2U15 жыл бұрын
How can you not feel their pain every time you see their faces?.. I cried over their losses.. I am so sorry :( I pray that their lives will be happier after making this video.. Blessings..

At first I questioned why this video would not have been the one chosen for the U.S. release, but I figured out the answer. The U.S. market is so fickle in what they accept, or don't accept in this case. Seeing this video gives this song a new perspective I never thought of before, and Mark Pellington showcases this in a brilliant video.

I love this video...the simbolic meaning of it is brilliant. For example, the roses that fall from those hands...they mark those who we have lost. But in the end, the hands have the roses again, meaning that we laways return to our loved ones. Or the window that opens in the end, that marks the spirit leaving. The song is amazing, sets the perfect mood. Can this video be any more perfect? I don't think so.

At 2:28: did David pass due to a heroin overdose or alcohol poisoning? 6:30 seriously tears at my heart. I've surely been taking a lot of things in my life for granted. I haven't seen a video with such emotion in a long, long time. Bless every one of these people, I can't imagine what they've been through.

Though it's an unknown gem, I will share this video whenever I know of a loss. Losing the ones means having holes in your heart that can't be filled. Just avoiding them when you can.

I like the slogan before the song started 4:25 - TOGETHER WE CAN DO ANYTHING. I hope all these people are feeling OK now. I hate the phrase 'overcame his / her grief'. One never does overcome. One just not 🤔 about for a while. I so the like the ending where you see the griefing family members broke into smiles. Life must go on, right?

I KNEW I had watched a different version to those two one can easily find. Have always loved this song and now, with the background of these sad stories... it hits even deeper. However, I still have the image of one video where some drawings are shown behind them as they sing... like buildings being built and then erased and rebuilt... am I wrong?
