La Terza ... Ive only just noticed that this band has produced a big amount of my favorite songs. I didnt even know there name untill today. I thought all the songs were by one hit wonder bands. So I must agree with that there so underated!

This album brings me so many memories 🥹 I used to be in love of life and I was amazed by the beauty of this world , and now I feel confused and i can’t find the same joy 🤕 but when I hear keane everything feels better . My soul finds peace ❤

I came back to your post after reading it and reflecting. I'm 67 and people rarely get through life without some confusion. We're all different but this works for me. Love yourself first, look after those who look after you or those that can't look after themselves. Keep listening to Keane. I've only just taken a real interest and I'm hooked. I saw them recently at the Isle of Wight Festival, awesome. You will love life again and see the beauty of it. 🤗

Went to the Sovereign Light Cafe last Thursday (in Bexhill). Excellent food, friendly service and Keane photos on one wall, signed by the band "to the real stars of Sovereign Light Cafe". Recommend

2012: My son was 9. I fought my chronic illness, loaded up on painkillers and took him on holiday to the seaside, single handed. The drugs made me physically sick at night, the part he didn't see, but the memories are so worth it. Now I can hardly go out at all as I've got much worse. He's 18 right now and has fab memories of his summer holidays, and is a tremendous young man, he does so much to help me. This song and video bring a tear to my eye, I want to be able to WALK past the beach huts again - oh to go back in time. Make the most of every moment folks, you never know what life has in store.

I am a Hastings, St Leonards guy, now looking after my mum in Derbyshire, she's not so good healthwise but watching videos like this keeps my pecker up! I adore Tom Chaplin's amazing voice. His last voice bit on this track is just wonderful and lifts my spirits immensely. See you guys end of June 2022 for more live music

If she's like me, she may never quite be able to put into words how much it means to her - I try, but I can never thank my son enough or find the words to express how much I appreciate him every single day. As for Keane - yes, yes and yes, I agree. Their music helps me relax and helps lift my mood at the greyest of times - fabulous band.

Just enjoying this video and lovely tune after returning from the place they filmed this video!-you are so lucky anyone who lives there as it's a gorgeous seaside town and I hope to return one day!-just to claim extra brownie points I am a long- time fan of the band and it just so happens that I was born a "Keane"so I love the fact that the band named themselves after their Dinner Lady Cherry Keane!-such a great story and lovely band-i will never tire of listening to their Music Xxx❤️🇨🇮☘️🇬🇧🎧🎼🎤❤️

My wife and I jumped on our bikes last Friday night and rode down to the south coast just to get away from some stress and craziness. On Saturday morning, against the odds, the sun came out and it was a spectacular day. We walked to the seafront and found ourselves in a little cafe. While I was ordering, I saw some photos on the wall and they were of Keane and it turned out we were sitting in the Sovereign Light Cafe. I had never seen this video before and we watched it later on and it just added some extra magic to a magical 24 hours.

I used to live just along the road from the cafe, and must have walked past it hundreds of times without ever going in. Strangely, before that I lived in North trade road (mentioned in the lyrics)...this was before Keane but I have another 4 incredible but true links to this song and its writer, even though I've never met him.

They were, to me, like as if they were picking up where Ultravox left off, with enormous, consciousness filling soundscapes, passion and driving, epic themes that made you feel like you were in a really great movie. When i was 5, i was standing in a hotel lobby drumming a keane song and singing along. (Ive been a drummer from a very young age and ive always loved music). A man stood next to us and talked to my parents. Turned out he was their manager and he asked for adress and everything. They send me a drumhead with the text "to mickey" and all their signatures. Its even been played on. As a kid i didnt understand how special this was but now i realise how amazing and unique this is. Im very very lucky. Much love

Whilst I appreciate what you are saying, I think that when people look at all the different music that is available, and they look at other bands and artists that are. in theory, more popular than someone like Keane, they, like me, find it very hard to reconcile why this should be so. I suppose it is the selfish part of the mind thinking 'I love this music, why doesn't everybody else?'

I can't speak and write English, so I use a translator. Thanks to this song, I learned the stories that resonate in England. The song is so good, and I think it was used worldwide because I was a talented rock singer. +matt cairns The thing is for me, I don't miss the town so much as I miss those days. If I went back now it wouldn't be the same because we've all moved on, we all grew up and carry our responsibilities of adulthood. For me it's more of a nostalgia of a time that's gone and I cherish very much. I absolutely love my life right now because it is exactly how I dreamed it but sometimes I can't help but feel nostalgic.

I’ve seen the best vocalists in the business live: Mercury, Coverdale, Rogers, Sting, Meatloaf and a whole host more and I’m telling you Tom Chaplin is right up there with all of them! Saw Keane at the Brighton Centre in October 2019 and you hear how he sounds in this video? Well he sounds like that live! 👏👏👏 Pitch perfect and powerful. Whoa!

This song has a new meaning for me. I hadn´t connected as much until I watched the video. ´´I´m going where the people know my name´´ hits differently with the visuals. We all have a home, whether it´s a place, a person, a memory. It made me tear up of joy.

My friend and I took a lot of long drives in summer 2021 listening to 2000s alternative britpop like Keane, Stereophonics, Snow Patrol, Blur, etc. Memories for a lifetime.

Thanks Buddy. For alot of us in the UK this song is very nostalgic. We all have memories of somewhere like this as a child. Good times with our parents. I was brought up in Northern Ireland. We have seaside towns like this you could escape to and be normal away from the troubles. For a short time anyways.

My now ex left Strangeland in my car and I can't stop listening to it. Listening to it like the way I used to listen to music as an excitable child. Two days after my 41st birthday I'll be going to the UK for the first time ever from NZ/Aus and will now most certainly be visiting the Sovereign Light Cafe´ :)

I grew up in Bexhill. The last flat where my mother lived can be seen in the shots with the old cars at the bottom of Galley Hill. Looking forward to visiting family in Sussex once this pandemic starts to ease off (I'm no longer in the UK). This video is always a nostalgic trip down memory lane as well as Powdermill Lane.

I posted two years ago in this same page. My family and I were blessed to go to England twice I always wanted to go and this song took us there. We visited Bexill and fell in love with the town. We, as well look forward to the next time we are blessed to walk down West Parade. I do hope I can smell the ocean sitting in front of the Sovereign Light Cafe again.
