Yeah, and I ever saw in talk show interview few years ago, what other role that he really wants to play, he said that he really wanted to back as John Constantine again. And guess what ?! That hopes come true 😃. I also glad to hear it, the news about the sequel and also knowing that he wants reprise the role. I just hope, this time when he reprise the role, he could shave his hair and beard, and make it like when he's young again. Not like when he reprised as Ted or Neo, he still his nowadays look.

He didn't look, sound, or act anything like him, and the story they wrote had almost nothing to do with the source material at all. They should have just made their own movie and believed in it, instead of trying to coast on the reputation of a 30-year-old IP.

If you're watching it with no prior knowledge its a great film and he is a great choice. If you know the story and character already it was disappointing. Both reactionS are valid and enjoyment is subjective in any form of entertainment.

But I did pause for the bludgeoning of all that has come before that has bombarded fans of all variety. The legacy films being sequelized and rebootified, the video games gone tv-show, and even big screen.. The heckin woke craptivism responsible for nullifying immersion and escapism for the better part of a decade. All this blatant agenda smashenda bologna that gets top billing over quality, and the highest held positions in the most influential and lucrative industry in the world are now held by admittedly untalented people with no imagination or even a hint of creativity and yet they’ve managed to fail themselves to the top of the ladder through political and cultural ideologies alone. Save the right shit and you get picked. For that Constantine very well may have it’s quality compromised. Let alone do usual obstacles, and issues that have plagued productions since the inception of motion pictures. I wish the cast and crew well, and pray for some kick ass Constantinified content. But I’ve already seen my two favorite long-standing franchises I’ve been faithful to since early childhood, be adapted into gastrointestinal gobbledygook. So, fingers crossed or whatever..
