I like the Batman 89 comics it's basically the ideas Burton and hamm had for future sequels but didn't get like Harvey becoming two face and a black Robin little known fact the reason there is a black Robin in the series is because Marlon Wayans was the frontrunner to play Robin in the original outline for Batman forever

Is this Tim Drake's young Marlon Wayans because I heard that Marlon Wayans was supposed to be Robin in the 1989 Batman movie

I've always figured that the Tim Burton Batman's version of Robin, would pretty much have the Tim Drake Robin's costume from the early 1990s - y'know, the costume he had in the Batman Animated Series?!. They even have a more realistic version of the costume in Batman Arkham Knight, as an alternate Robin skin. It fits PERFECTLY with Batman 1989, and the whole latex rubber aesthetic.

I'm a huge fan of these comic stories. Sometimes they breathe more life than the movies that come after them. However this one didn't do enough for me. But I like the callbacks and nostalgia nonetheless.

I LOVE Billy Dee Williams Two-Face suit it reminds me of Beetlejuice since it's Tim Burton's work. The Joker had a good Purple Pinstripe suit in the first Movie I LOVE Pinstripe Suits when I look at Joker and Two-Face with theirs in Batman 89 it's just like Beetlejuice and Gomez Addams. I wish The Joker Lived in the first Movie him and Two-Face would have been the 2 Perfect Partners in Crime. Also if more of these DC films were made I would have loved to seen a Batman vs Superman Movie that had both Michael Keaton and Christopher Reeve. Heck they should have made a Justice League Movie with those 2 still being Batman and Superman if they did I think Catherine Zeta-Jones would have been perfect as Wonder Woman

Just putting this out there for science's sake: A toss of a coin is not considered a choice that would split the universe if multiple world theory is true. That is an event thats mostly predictable by the newtonian or classical laws of physics, like the choices people make. The choices that do change the universe are at the subatomic scale, where quantum particles have interactions based on probability, at least in our current understanding

FYI Dark Crisis: Big Bang #1 also revealed that Keatons Batman and Reeves Superman are set on the same Earth, Earth 789.

Good Concept May Make a Good Real Movie.

First off, you have to admit it beats what we got with Batman Forever. I don't like the design of the motorcycle or Harvey learning the secret identity of Batman or the way he died. You know a villain is going to die before the end when they learn the secret identity. At first I thought Barbara was the new Commissioner and I FUCKING LOVED the idea of a by-the- book hardass so cold she would arrest her own fiancee learning Batman's secret identity and leaving it as a cliffhanger. Then I read it back and realized the letter is addressed to Sgt. Gordon which is more of a Batgirl/Oracle setup, which is cool. I just thought how cool would it be to see a Yindel type in the next movie/series going toe to toe with Batman.
