The concert was recorded in advance on the 28th of August, 2021, in order for me to be able to participate in the chat room during the premiere. The concert was recorded in 2-4 takes per song and the best parts were edited together in order to get good video and audio. The songs were performed live at the venue, using only analog synthesizers and analog drum machines, with the help of a MIDI sequencer.
Synths used in this concert: Alesis Andromeda A6; DSI Tetra; Hypersynth Xenophone (x2); Jomox AirBase99; Korg Polysix (x2), Poly 61, Micro-Preset M500 Mono/Poly; Oberheim Matrix 1000, Marion Prosynth; Roland Alpha Juno 1&2, Juno-60, Jupiter 6, JX-3P, JX-8P, MKS-70, TR-808; Touched-by-sound DRM1;
Additional equipment: Akai MPC2500 (only for MIDI sequencing); Yamaha 01v96 mixer; Behringer X32 Rack mixer; Lexicon MPX1; Strymon BigSky; as well as a midi patchbay and additional preamps for my mixer.

I cannot love this more. Kebu has an multi layered sound that is far more pure than the Hollywood junk that's being labelled as retro synth. Some guys my age think that the best days are gone for electronic music but I actually believe this is a truly golden time. It's the merging of classic synths with modern tech such as live broadcasting that is so awesome and believe me, if it had been available, ALL the old guys would have snapped up the modern tech because that's what they stood for. Please bring this to Ireland!

Some can describe- put a lebel- this is high class electronic musik... But the truth is- here we can see, listen, feel how one magician is creating musik/ sounds which are comming from human soul. And we can tatch, we can see, we feel, we start fly with this melody, becouse the Maestro is creating the music from our own soul.

This month we lost Vangelis and not even a month before Klaus Schulze. It is a delight that I can hardly describe that their music genius lives on in this young man! Superb composition and execution, I come to listen often!

usualy these days we often hear music jus for a short time switch next next next rarly we listen to somehing all the way through .. on top of wich we are busy doing other things at the same time and having music just as backround noise .... here im sitting and im making music myself for close to 35 years and im ... well surprised is not the right word ... but somehow i listened to this ... and now its 44 minutes later ... i was just sitting here listening and did absolutly nothing ... is gobsmacked the right word ? its like ... that feeling when you are positivly suprised that something exist realizing .. did that just happen ? .. yes it did .. no pause no break listened to the whole thing in one run doing nothing but enjoying it all the way through. i did not expect this which makes this just that much more beautiful ... i think the only thing left to say and abba said it best: .... Thank you for the Music Kebu i still cannot belive that just happened ... i just ... this is magic

Hearing this I remember...There was a radio show in Germany Radio (WDR) in the 90th "Schwingungen". It started in "night" and i liked to lie on bed in the dark hearing these electronic music ..like Kebu is playing now...Thanks a lot this music has a special quality..so much spirituality...

This man needs no sequencer to speed through those keys he is a talented master of the Synths I have so much respect for this musician he makes it look so easy but trust me knowing what every button, dial. knob and all the thru ways to get these old synths playing is sync is no easy feat it takes years of learning and playing to sound engineering to make it all work so well as in this exceptional video. Huge like Kebu cheers mate

Kebu often use sequencers for his analog synths. This video opens with him using a MIDI pad to trigger things.

Да уж. У нас только хороводы под рваную гармошку и бояра. С курсом доллара и евро цена только одного синта улетела за 200 штук+ оригинал плагины с маком и цена квартиры. И попробуй на старом расстроенном пианино понять что такое современная музыка.

Wow.. now in my early 70's, I remember buying Jean MichelJarre Oxygene in 1977, 45 year ago... this music takes me right back to those heady days of my mid twenties. another lifetime . I'm a gigging musician that has probably played his last note in front of a live audience (retired) I'm going to set up all my equipment and have fun just like this guy. My music will now be for an audience of one. I love this guy's stuff. He has inspired me to create just for the sake of enjoyment
