Me too. It's very impressive, hopefully It's well treat. Awesome like the animals keep unstressed when the pain desappeared. You see them becoming calm all along the puss flews off.😮😅 (Sorry for my english)

I love this vet. He always gives the animal a shot for pain and another one of antibiotics before he starts. He cleans the area and sterile the area shaves it then starts the surgery. He is so gentle and caring. Wish he were my vet.

Ive watched this being done so many times without the animal being given numbing injections first before being cut into. The poor animals are obviously in distress with the procedure and i feel for each animal that has to go through that pain....which makes me applaud this wonderful and caring, vet ❤ 😊

also lidocaine needs somewhere to go to make numb when you just poke it in to an abscess like this it just puts everything under more pressure. wasting the lidocaine on puss defeats the purpose

Now this is what you call a kind and professional vet. Thank you for being so gentle and caring as you performed the drainage of the abscess, I am sure the cow appreciated getting rid of all the drainage.

I’ve watched lots of these procedures, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen one as big as this one. That poor cow must have been in misery for quite awhile. Hopefully she will heal quickly and completely.

If he doesn’t get all this the sack and lavage(wash it out) that it could come back.The more pus that vet drains the less the cow’s body has to fight and break down all that pus and infection that the vet is draining out.

It is so nice seeing a humane vet on here! The cow did not looked distressed at all. I hate it when they cut into farm animals without numbing them and then have them restraint in such a way that causes more pain. This vet is fantastic and very thorough. Great video.

You should only numb an animal if something will take more than ten minutes, but I agree.

I am so impressed that you gave the cow shots, rinsed the area and cleaned it with iodine or some such!! I've never seen a large animal vet take such good care!!

I hope they always treat their patients like this. The cow never seemed distressed at all. Great job. Like I said. I hope they are gentle to all animals they treat. God has a special place for those that look after his animals.

I have recently started watching vet videos for my depraved disgusting fascination with watching gross shit come out of bodies, and I have fallen in love with this vet. You can see how careful he is and even though the numbing may not always be effective he always does it and tries to help the animals feel at ease. I wish more ranches had this kind of care; I realize that sometimes it is seen as less stressful for the animals to just have it lanced and have it be done but I hope that this kind of vet care can become standard for ranch animals.

Also - once the wound is packed and sterilized does the vet come back a few days later to check the wound and drain it again? This video is totally amazing! But the vet is even more amazing!!!!

The farmer didn’t let the abscess get too big and the vet did a great job.... antibiotics and anti-inflammatory, cleaning and disinfecting the area, local anesthetic, making an incision just big enough and proper dressing.

Wondierful vet,he gayve pain relief which all animals shoould get. He is so kind and gentle. The best vet around. Thank you for being so kind to the animals. Imagine how much pain the cow was having, I CAN I KNOW WHAT AN ABCESS IS LIKE.

An abscess is an infected cyst that is breaking down, the chunks is broken down cyst, not liquified flesh.
