In this VladTV Flashback from Keefe D's first VladTV interview from 2019, Keefe D recounted receiving a call from Puffy following the shooting asking whether that was "us" behind the shooting. Keefe D's recollection of the events that led to the Tupac shooting have gained a new level of relevance following his arrest for the murder of the hip hop icon nearly 30 years after shooting.

If Diddy ever went down it will not be for Pac's murder, no matter how they spin it. One way or another there must be records of confrontation, physically or on phone, of Keefe D demanding his cut from Zip and Zip refusing, hence confirming that money was paid by Diddy. Also Keefe D is a gangsta who would put Diddy under pressure to give him his cut if Zip denied him. In fact it would have been a source Blackmail for him to extort Diddy with because he had nothing to lose and Diddy had everything to lose. Again if Diddy dealt with Zip directly as the ring leader, why would he call Keefe D to confirm if the hit was for the bounty and then go ahead to pay Zip? It was alleged that Zip bought a club with the proceeds but he is not here today to confirm that, is he? Or is there bank transactions showing Diddy paid 1 million to Zip? I am sure the Feds would have found that by now or even found that Diddy pulled 1 million from his account within that period and make him account for how he spent. Except he had it in cash, stashed away somewhere which was very unlikely. Truth is Pac shouldn't have jumped Orlando at the AGM. That was reckless considering Orlando and his gangstas didn't fear for their lives as they had nothing to lose. Treat a gangsta that way in public, you got to be ready for the consequences. I guess Pac and his people didn't expect that consequences immediately. Maybe after a day, Surge would have reached out to Orlando and his people to make it right. What could Keefe D tell the feds to implicate and put Diddy away? That Diddy put a hit on 2pac? Mere rumour, that Diddy paid him 1 million? He said himself that he didn't receive any money from Diddy. That Diddy paid Zip 1 million for the? No evidence. Zip is dead, no one can confirm it. Note that even if any evidence turns up tomorrow showing Diddy paid 1 million to Zip within that period, Diddy's lawyers will argue it to hell that the money was for something else. Zip is dead no one can confirm. Keefe D lacks credibility.
