its actually disgusting how the police treated him I know he's a fictional character but this is 100% true and it happens all the time to black people just because they happen to have darker skin colour. That is absolutely disgusting and you wonder why black people don't trust the police, never mind why people in general don't trust the police. I'm not saying all police are like this. There is some great police out there that want to protect and help people be safe, and others think that just because they have a badge and a weapon means they have the power and authority to use their weapon whenever they feel like it. These police who do this should be stripped of their title immediately, sacked, never be allowed to work in the force again and go to jail. It is terrible. The poor families that have to go through this. The government and police really need to make this one of their main priorities, both in the UK and the USA, for black women and men of all ages, and children too. Everybody has feelings. Everybody has family, whether they are a mother, father, guardian, brother, sister, gran, grandad, auntie, uncle or cousin. Every human being should have basic rights and be allowed freedom of speech. Unfortunately this doesn't happen to black people and their families, which is a disgrace. What these families must go through. It doesn't matter what gender, race, age or where you come from. Everybody is human. It must of been hard for this actor to do this because he can probably relate to this and has seen it happen in real life before, whether it's happened to him or a family member or friend. It also must of been hard for other cast members of Eastenders that are of ethnic minority, whether that's being part of the asian community or being mixed race. Unfortunately, these groups also suffer racism and discrimination. I really hope more TV programmes show more of this and make people understand that it's happening not just in America, but here in the UK too.
