In terms of water starters in this game, I honestly think froakie in the best after you hatch one or two froakie eggs. Battle Bond greninja clears mostly everything with water shuriken. Oh and there's adaptability as a passive if you take the time to grind 40 candies

some of the worst early luck ive had is getting destroyed by a hopip with bulltet seed and flinching 3x to rattata bite then 1shot by a critical takedown on swap.

I actually managed to beat eternateas once with essentially just slowbro as my marshadow was just soaking some of the hits letting me set up cosmic powers and slam it with stored power

I see Ivy as the rival KZfaqrs have the most of, and I have Finn as my rival. Finn is the BOSS FIGHT for every last time I encounter him! I know his starter's typing, I know his team, and I STILL lose because of his INSANE AI Also, you can give a Rare Candy to a pokemon with the max level, and it will give them an extra level anyways.

try doing fighting types only! hatching riolu from an egg gives it a chance to learn either triple axle or thunderous kick which im sure would be a great help! love the videos btw (edit: galarian farfetched can learn behemoth blade as an egg move when hatched)
