I grow/grew these plants for many years in a row (this is the first year in 20 years that i dont have any) but what u cut off comes back x3 and with strong winds u find branches broken off.......My advice dont cut them as they grow back from the leaves that are under the cut u made make it only weaker and wind+rain together will make a big mess..........Atleast thats my experiance.. U shut grow species that grow simpley said as x mass tree they are soo much more wind/rain resistance vs these plants that makes brances and branches...

Thank you! I always love to hear from other growers! This has been my method for 10+ years and it always works for me. I don't get regrowth and I get really strong branches. Last year I did a "set it and forget it" grow with 3 plants and my flowers were definitely smaller at the tops.

@@katiekateshomestead In my early years i would buy clones who are used for indoor growing and i used them outdoor and they kept making branches everywhere . But the more i learned and read and saw from other people made me swap to feminised seeds,these plants are made for outdoor growing,they grow like a X mass tree basicly are very wind resistanted and ready for harvest in my climat around 10-20 september......
