You only need 6 of any traded pokemon max, seen as you can't trade it and then you have to consider whether it has a shadow out, but with mewtwo priority should be 1 shundo for the mega and then 5 Shadow shundos and then if ultra necrozma is better then you may want to replace those

​@sambeaumont395 you can still put it into pokemon home and trade it that way. There is no limit on trades in the main games.

@@davidalvarado9957 - sending it to Pokémon home and transferring it is essentially the same thing in relation to Pokémon Go. Either way it is no longer in Pokémon Go, and cannot be returned.

I really wish we could search the exact IV so we could get rid pokes in our storage that we don't want. But I'm guessing Niantic banks on the fact that we can't go through our storage easily. People will buy more storage because it isn't easy to go through and transfer without spending time, so people with money and not as much time will just buy more storage.

I agree. But also the more you increase Pokémon storage the worse maintaining it will get. Not such an issue with Item Bag and new(ish) layout has helped. Thankfully the postcard book is easy to maintain (although wish was simple tap, select all, delete all).

same PvP values are a pain to judge, pokemon go database is a handy resource for looking at movesets aerodactyl with the satchel will be available at go fest although I don't know if thats just for ticket holders or not

agreed. I also hate judging pokemon for making raid teams.. #1 counters are always based upon perfect IVs, but what happens when your pokemon are not 4*.. hate it lol

@@MrJoeyGreganIV barely matters in raids so you should use the best Pokémon in stats and moveset and not the one with the best IV

Right? Like same thing with me being prevented from performing neurosurgery. Everyone should be allowed to do everything they want. So what if some people worked really hard, and devoted a large portion of their life to pursue a skill-set? I want to do it, so they should let me.

IMO your trainer level is irrelevant to the question here. Do or don’t should be more about the Dust resources you have, how you typically and/or occasionally spend and the ability to recoup it should you spend it. Also should consider why are you purifying? - purified Dex? - badge - research - convert to 100iv

@@jasonmetcalfe4695 - what is the point to (hurry) up your trainer level? What benefit do you get? A few premium items, anything else? Wait out for the 1,000 dust ones and/or work through to get the purify dex, hundos, but still consider your dust resource spending and recoup rates. There should be no rush. You can already get XL candy, you can already power up Pokémon to level 50. Trainer level if anything only has a negative value (supposedly shadow battles get harder), Pokemon level has more relevance. In most cases (apologies if a bad assumption relative to you), a player gets to 45 then completes those tasks quick and has to wait for the XP to catch up before can go 46 - so what is the deal if you build XP up in advance?

Late response, but 1,000 for sure. I know it's tempting to do 3-5's, but you'll easily collect the tasks way before you gained enough XP to level up (otherwise if you did have the XP to just jump, I'd assume your stardust bank would also be bigger and the question would be irrelevant). Don't overthink it, take it nice and easy. Though you may want to quickly go through all these tasks, you can easily complete them over the course of a month or so and it's not like your XP is going anywhere either. In any case you'll probably hit one that you can easily go through (the GBL level for sure) and you'll be back to needing XP instead of tasks. My advice as a nearly level 50 twice over.

@@blarlyle I kept them all. And I found some folks in my area and have become best friends. I was able to get some really good lucky pokemon.

I couldn't imagine searching for those PvP IV's haha, that sounds rough. I've been running almost the same 3 teams since season one, only having just switched up my UL team this season. I also switched the ones I've been using from S1 for better IV mon though the years but only once per pokemon. It think there are mid teens and that's good enough for me. Hunting those #1s when you basically can't trade for 95% of them sucks.

No, they are Level 50. When you transfer a Level 50 maxed out Pokémon to the main series, its Level 50.

Pretty sure a lot of pokemon got their CPs recalculated once they were starting to put code in for level 50, so I'm sure they would do the same for 60, however the idea/grind to hit level 60 pokemon would be insane. Personally I think level 55 should be the next cap, with a re-shuffle on XL candy requirements. Perhaps slightly decrease the needs per level. Now for those of us that have level 50 pokemon and would be affected, just raise the pokemon up to the level with 296 XLs needed. If in the middle, round up as a sort of good will leveling system so we don't just have 10,000 CP pokemon breaking the game (looking at you M2, Ray, and Black Kyurem). Level 60 can come later, but as a good chunk of players had hit level 50 XP requirements, I'd say level 55 would actually give trainers a XP mark to hit, seeing as level 40 was 20M and level 50 was 176M. Think by the math level 55 was supposed to be like 700M with how much each increment was going. Idk how true that is but like I said would actually give most of the PoGo community a XP mark to try for.

Does it have ideal ivs for pvp or raids? Would it be good for trades? Is the pokémon good in the current meta? Do you like the pokémon? Questions like these can help you determine what’s “good”.

I'm 4800 of 6250, trying to maybe hit 4500 and buy some bag space. I'm sure I got something to get rid of haha.

Personally for me, 0-2* immediately get the boot. Keep around 6 of any/every shiny you want to swap, delete the rest. Costumes do as you please but I'd say it's 50/50 for people who care and don't. Get 1 hundo of every pokemon while also keeping multiple high IV pokemon for meta attackers. Give yourself maybe 5 GBL pokemon to use for each league, and the rest could be your catch space.
