Zoning laws are the only way we could potentially stop urban sprawl in Texas but no politician would vote for it because they’d lose their seat so fast they’d be spinning

Nothing but facts here, and sadly BigBadJohn is right, no one cares enough to stop it. Hell i’d be surprised if more than half of Texas even knew what a zoning law was.

it's 2023 and driving through i35 will confirm those visions of the old are gone, and replaced with miles of concrete

every time they say urban they meant suburban. the point of being urban is to STOP sprawling. thats why urban areas have denser populations than suburban ones

wish we could do something about the endless sprawl people just keep pouring and pouring in adding more and more concrete to our monstrous heat island. guess i’ll have to move smh
