I've had my Camp 10 for about a decade now, I think I paid $27 with free shipping back then. I use it every year for multiple camping and hunting trips. Used it to process firewood and large game. It's been an indispensable tool and I love it.

I got rid of the rattle by putting a half of a foam ear plug in to the sheath no more rattle I carry mine on a military style drop leg platform strapped it tight with parachute cord

Used this blade along with my chainsaw to clear out my garden. It was one of those four seasons in one day kind of days with blistering hot sun, hail stones, wind, rain back to sun burn. The blade was great, no hint of rust and the handle was just fine even after 8 hours of work. Lovely tool to use. Highly recommend it.

I was just watching the chop off by Tac yesterday, what a coincidence! This is a really cool blade. Although, Jess X does have a special place in all of our hearts.

Totally agree with this Kershaw Camp 10 pick. Bought it way back after after seeing your review...at a really good price at the time. It goes with my go to bug out bag every time.

Snapped 2 C10's just chopping with it. Both broke just behind the gaurd,inside where tang meets the blade. I got in touch with them and they sent me another one and that was the 2nd one I broke doing the same thing and it was 3-4 inch limbs,not insane and was only birch and elm. It does baton something fierce however I think its not meant for anything but looking at or a couple zombies.

The Camp X is the thinkin´ man´s kukri and it comes with a great sheath that is ambidextrous.

When I couldn't get Jess-X I got a Condor pack golok. Not quite as budget as the camp 10 although I had the camp 10 for 2 years and my pack golok outchops it!!! But then it's about 80 bucks not 50!!!

So I have had my camp 10 for over 7 years. The blade is awesome I have done things with it that you probably shouldn't do with a knife. Its still a power house chops down small trees and makes feather sticks with ease. My only complaint is the sheath the 2 screws have fallen out so it no longer has a retention strap. So now I'm in the market for a good sheath for my camp 10. This blade coupled up with a mora is probably the best bushcrafting blade on a budget. Its worth every penny.

I prefer budget go to's to be all end all's. This has been my favorite "big" knife since The late 90's (?). Paired with a "beat the hell out of it" Condor Tool & Knife Rodan, multiple Morarakniv like serrated, chisel, carbon vs stainless (for food) (I mean really, what do they weigh?). Toss in a Old Timer "Splinter" & there's nothing you shouldn't be able to do ( beyond needing an actual axe/hatchet.

I miss your content man, not just knives and EDC stuff, but the wide variety of things like tarps, filters, bows, axes, tomahawks, fire, and bug out bags, etc. I'm guessing you settled on your set up and decided you're good. Whatever the reason, i miss your content, and hope everything's going well.

The ontario sp8 machete would be my choice for a chopper under 60 dollars. I couldn't break it if I wanted to

Kershaw Outcast was the best! Discontinued though. Outcast had the best sheath! I've ordered the Camp 10 now though.

Good budget blade that I have recommended. Personally I would probably grind off the upper guard and make a kydex sheath for it. And when the finish has rubbed off put a vinegar patina on the blade.

This knife is a Total Beast , I beat the Dirt out of it and it laughed at me , although the 65MN STEEL is Suspect , because I CRACKED my Camp 14 on its first outing which was surprising to me seeing how much abuse the Camp 10 can take , the Camp 14 is heavier and thinner behind the edge , it was the Best Chopper I ever used , such a shame , But now it's the Camp 18's turn , but it has me a bit nervous because it's a lot heavier and it's also thinner behind the edge , sooo we'll see what happens.....👍🖖

I've been on the fence about this one but after my SCH52 shattered over the weekend on a family campout, I went out yesterday and got a Camp 10. Going camping again in a few weeks, excited to try it out.

My two "go to" knives for serious camp tasks are a Camp 10 and my customized BK9 ... The Camp 10 is a bit better for heavy chopping, though the BK9 beats it in every other way. Bought my BK9 for around $75 many years ago ... today you could by about 3 Camp 10's for the price of 1 BK9, more if you start customizing with grips and sheaths.

My original Jess X goes on every outdoor venture with me and it never fails to impress me or those around me. It’s good to know that the camp 10 is a runner up, should I ever destroy the master sword. 🗡 ✨

Im so glad i managed to snag one out of the final jess x rub, after they removed chris' logo. Great chopper. I really wish chris would make something similar, also for a budget. Obviously, it couldnt be the exact same, but still.

If you don't like the rattle, then put a foam earplug don in the shaeth and it won't make a noise ever again!!!

I love my camp 10! The thing is a tank. I never did get a JessX. So if any of you folks out there are looking to sell one at a reasonable price. Please look me up. In the meantime, my camp 10 will go into the woods with me every time.

This one has me facing a tough choice - the Camp 10 or the Chanceinhell... $44 for the Camp 10, plus $10 for Wilson Wrap, plus sheath mod, or $37 for the KO Chanceinhell with a decent ready to go sheath.... Any further insight, my friend? Keep on doing what you do!!

The camp 14 is so much better with a little modding. I found it a bit too pointy, so I re-ground the tip about 1 inch back. Looks more like a bolo now. It's also not much heavier than the camp 10 but a far superior chopper.

It's a solid blade for a great price.

Glad I got the original Jess X, I’ll never get rid of her she’s a monster when I need to process large pieces of wood or break down old wood furniture.

It has already been beaten by the skrama. I still don't honestly understand how you don't like the skrama. It's incredible to me. That said, the kershaw camp 10, for me is at the second place, it's an amazing blade, super tuff, very powerfull in chopping task. Mine is something like 7 years old, always used, still in good conditions. The kershaw camp 10 has a better price then the skrama, but the skrama has a longer handle an a better steel.
