A guys opinion - "Guys like to make the girl, they like a lot, happy and laugh. Clix sees you happy and laughing with some other guy and thinks he has to play better than him and make better jokes than him. That's why he says the most random stuff to make you laugh but makes it worse unintentionally. We all know how nervous he already is talking to you and then the competition makes him not think straight." In short, it becomes a competition between guys and in the end he will just stop trying.
