Cody Rhodes' problem is that he panders to the marks too much. He did it in AEW and they got bored of him. Roman Reigns is a part timer who is now very part time. Cody Rhodes is full time. Roman Reigns should be booked as the main special attraction and Cody as the top main star, they can go like this for another 3-5 years. Also The Rock can work and put over Cody at this WrestleManja while Reigns feuds with the bloodline and Seth Rollins and then you can reveal The Rock as pulling the strings and then you can do Rock Vs Reigns at WrestleMania the next year.

Cody and HHH, made it a point to force the issue, when the reality is that Rock and Roman were right: Rock vs Roman is bigger. Now, Roman is absolutely going to overshadow Cody on his own show. That's inevitable. It's already reaching the point where the Bloodline segments are the highest rated segments on the show. We're already getting there. Cody just doesn't have that organic and multi-layered feel of a Sami or a Jey, who were both once just as over as Cody, when they were in the Bloodline saga. When Roman called Cody a politician, he meant it. But no matter how much HHH tries, he can't make Cody be so enthralling that he doesn't end up overshadowed by Roman and the Bloodline story as a whole.
