What makes Kefton so nice is attitude and audaciousness, alongside his precise musicality. I think that it's importanbt to remember those aspects of dance too Riceball too, he has this showboat, theatrical feel that makes both of them really potent

So impressed with both of them. Fierce battlers. Although I thought Riceball outdanced Kefton and therefore should have taken the win. Riceball is so expressive and puts so much into his dance. Love seeing Kefton root for his opponent. Such a great attitude. Love him!

They were pretty much like that to Riceball for every single battle he was in here, sad to see such an attitude when he was legitimately killing the songs. Here he did a little worse but still he was good

Kefton was feeling the music really well. Rice ball was also feeling it too but he had more hip hop feeling while Kefton just had the raw feeling more suited for experimental dance. Since this is a Hip Hop battle, I thought Rice ball won.

i love kefton's attitude... everytime i see him battle he's respectful to the opponent. riceball is crazy skillful, but he did seem tired and i think the way he teased kefton wasn't very stylish.

Rice Ball is MUCH cleaner than Kefton, but Kefton has improved in this one aspect the most IMO over this year - and that aspect is what won him the battle and that most dancers are missing. He gets your imagination going. He tells a story, communicates to your emotions, dude knows how to pull it all together so you have those moments where you're thinking "I see what he's trying to do but can he pull it off..... ....... yup he did".

Tell me in a paragraph what kinda story you saw cuz I saw none lol, at the end of the day every dancer does moves and connects them. I saw that Kefton had tons of emotion going on and it was great to see, but imo people over-exaggerate when they say they see a story in a freestyle. (For the record I think Kefton deserved the win lol)

I also think riceball should have won this one I think he came more creative. People are saying he stole Waydi his moves but thats not true. He used some litefeeting in his dance. That is not something that waydi has created that is just something waydi uses too. And in my opinion I personnaly think Kefton would be a better popping dancer :p

DARTH MAUL Exactly. He Barely does actual hip hop. All he does is popping. And even then, he comes with the minimal amounts of dancing. His beatkills are limited to full body vibrations. His musicality isn't that great either. Sharp? Maybe. Hit most of the beats? In a way yes. But Hoan could do the same but better.

When we speak of Hip Hop, do we refer to an individual dance genre ( like Popping, Krumping, B-boy etc.) or is it an umbrella term for many genres? I never understood that. In Hip Hop battles I sometimes see popping, animation and tuts. Are they part of Hip Hop? I don't dance I just like to watch dance battles.

Who won this? Completely up to the judges. It's a style clash. Both good dancers. However, I will say that in most battles I've seen with Kefton. He is always sending props and hyping up his competition. RESPECT

Wow this was a really interesting battle. Riceball had the first round down. Kefton destroyed the second round. The third round was a tie. The fourth round is really hard to tell, but overall, Kefton took the win. This was a good semifinal.

I don't think its necessarily bias because the crowd fucked with rice through the whole tournament until kefton fucked him up here. its a part of the battle and rice didnt do enough to captivate, while keftons feel, musicality, and passion captivated the audience. It's probably because he shared more information. Riceball's great (he deserved more cheers), but from this round alone you can tell he's focused on moves a bit more than communicating through his dance. Not that he wasn't communicating, but he was shouting every couple of sentences more than Kefton did.

If I were to choose between listening to someone that yells at me between every 2-3 few sentences vs. someone that tries to communicate in a relaxed, comprehensive manner, I'd choose the latter. That's essentially how I viewed Riceball against Kefton.

If you don't know kefton one of his qualities is his honesty and you can clearly see that the last 2 rounds he wanted to push Riceball beyond his "precise movements" and he received nothing in return . If riceball was honest he would have said i lost like Franky Dee did.
