Stax_Noir Well I've never been there in person but I have spent a good amount of time on Tokyo Extreme Racer 3, lol. Yeah I get its two completely different types of racing, and I was just joking. And 1500 hp is definately terrifying. It wouldn't be practical at all when they're taking off ramps constantly. I see how that came off a bit insulting, but I'm not trying to say americans are better or anything, I was just joking.

@@Eeter26 Well, he does have a couple of clips with sweet sweet ride. Experiencing stuff like he described isn't exactly uncommon if you are in the scene in Tokyo. I witnessed it myself while I was on a trip there. My hotel had view on the Wangan highway and you saw plenty of people going well over 250 on the straight. Sitting beside the window and just waiting for it was part of the reason I payed double the price of other hotels in the area xD

It's still illegal in Initial D due to most of the courses are public roads. Touge is a public road. But in Initial D, it's more organized as there are people check both ends.

Initial D and Wangan Midnight are by far the best ones, but there are a few others: Yoroshiku Mechadock, Capeta, Future GPX Cyber Formula, F-Zero: Falcon Densetsu, Machine Hayabusa, Redline, Dash! Yonkurou, F, eX-Driver, Arrow Emblem Grand Prix no Taka, Bubblegum Crisis: Revenge Road, and Bari Bari Densetsu is a good one about motorcycle racing. Most of these I haven't really watched and some of them are not even subbed btw. Check out my "Other Anime Races" Playlist, I have some more race edits there.

"Run at 300 kmh" Remember, that Celica Supra is back from the late 70's, or early 80's. 300 km/h back in that day... is way too much speed for the age, even supercars were struggling to have that level.

Not to mention, doing it in an FR with as little documented tuning knowledge as the MA61 2.8XX(as Takagi says) now that's truly crazy. Well, the first domestic car that went past 300 was a HKS Tuned MA61 running a twin turbo 5M(Essentially a supertuned standard 2.8XX engine), but that development wouldn't come till 1983.

33R650ps仕様で湾岸最高速やってた方が、C1は小排気量の軽量NAにカモられる事もあったと言ってたので700psのFRなんてとてもじゃないけど走れないでしょうね… 今はC124時間交通量それなりにありますから詰まる事もよくありますその中で最高速にふったマシンで走るのはキツいと思いますよ… 33Rの方Twitterやってるので見てみるとリアルはどうなのか分かると思いますよ

人物のモデルはゲーリー・アラン・光永でしょうね。東名200マイルオーバーを狙っていたこと、同じような状況で事故死したことからも間違いないと思います。彼が駆っていたのはXXではなくパンテーラでしたが。ちなみにパンテーラを仕上げたのは悪魔のZのモデルになったS130と同じABRです。もしかしたら北見さんのモデルはABRの細木氏かもしれないですね。

Waiting to see cars like the Chiron and Koenigsegg Jesko on this cartoon, all of them doing speeds in excess of 200 mph, should be fun to watch all the Japanese cars left in the dust except for maybe the R35 GTRR liberty walk.

"Straight line highway" Try racing some of the same Tokyo loops on Gran Turismo Sport. You'll quickly come to the realization that it's more challenging than a circuit track and more deadly than Touge racing, especially when you factor-in traffic.
