During the rush hours on weekdays and evenings in Japan, trains arriving and departing one after another at Kadomashi Station on the Keihan Main Line are arriving and passing (around 17:30 to 19:00). You can see the passing rapid limited express "Rakuraku", liner, limited express, rapid express, express, semi-express, local express, and ordinary (local express) Keihan trains.
In addition to passing the limited express "Rakuraku" bound for Yodoyabashi (3000 series), which operates two trains on weekdays and evening hours, one last train with reserved seats "Liner" (8000 series) will appear.
The platform is on two sides and two lines, with line 1 towards Demachiyanagi and line 2 towards Yodoyabashi / Nakanoshima. This section is a double track, and there is a platformless transit line between tracks 1 and 2.
Trains such as limited express trains and express trains pass through the inner transit lines, with section express trains departing and arriving at Platforms 1 and 2 on the outside of the double-track line. Due to the double track, two trains in the same direction can be seen arriving, passing, and overtaking at almost the same time.
