He couldn't speak any English when he arrived. He was at a juco in Texas for two years and this is his 3rd year at Nebraska. His first year was spot duty getting used to how physical the B10 is but has BALLED OUT since mid season last year. He is a HUGE fan favorite in Lincoln.

The Japanese dialect is incredibly different to the one we use for English. You'll rarely ever see a Japanese person speak English as well as Keisei does. Very impressive.

As a Nebraska fan for life and Someone who has met him and his entire family. This is nothing new. This is his 3rd year at Nebraska, his 2nd year with a major role. We got him from a community college in Texas. In high school, he averaged 39.8 points per game. No, I didn't mistype that number. He has already competed at the Olympic level for Japan on the 3x3 stage and 5x5. Yes, he has also met Curry. Curry tweeted about him last year. Just search his name and you will find even way more impressive clips than those.

As a Nebraskan for 18 years, I’m so happy the sports here are being noticed. Female and male basketball, the volleyball team. We are not great at football recently but Husker sports teams are underrated

One thing about him, he never stops moving. He rans around the court like a rabbit being chased when he doesn't have the ball so it's hard for the defense to keep up with him and he's got that special feel and touch. Of course he plays with pure joy.
