i agree i lost my best friend of 17 years after he accidentally got caught on a bush Wednesday well 2nd sunday of april he was dead at 4:08 few days later i swear promise you i imagined taking a blade to the throat as i took my last breathe of air in my head it was the worst suicide depression fight i had to to deal with to this day not a damn day flies by that i dont want my best friend back.

This artist..Keith Anderson..is such a rare and beautiful talented man..why don’t we see him more today..this song and it’s message is exactly what our world needs today..so much loss..so much tragedy..so much heartache..I pray for peace in our world and pray for everyone out there that has lost their loved one..it’s a pain that will never go away..but as the years pass..many of us do find a way to live with the pain..as it lessons...and In memory of our loved ones lost..I’ve found that in an effort to honor their memory..especially when we lose a parent..or a spouse..it’s important to never forget the sacrifices they made for us in an effort to provide a better life for us..so when you think there’s little hope for healing within yourself and getting through the most dark and difficult times in your life..try to remember how much you are loved by those that have passed and that your life has a purpose too..so find your light and shine it bright upon the world..😀🙏

I just saw keith anderson in ida on saturday and he sung this skng and i was in front row and i started bawling my eyes because i lost my daddy a mouth ago and he stoped the stopped the song and asked if i was ok. Then he said he wanted to meet me after the show and we ended up talking for a minute but it was the best minute of my life i was happy to know that he was here for me and that he knew what ive been though with his mom.. he is a loving and caring person then he gave me his guiter pick (: i love him he is my idol

He is one of the NICEST guys. I got to meet him this past summer, he played for my American Legion Post, and since the weather was horrible, he ended up in the Legion Hall for an acoustic performance. He's amazing live!!!!

I met him amd heard the story behind this song its about when his mom died from brain cancer. he is a really sweet kind emotional person in real life. he broke a guitar string during this song because he put so much emotion into it. I got a photo with him and a shirt that he signed directly for me. he is such a kind person and I hope to meet him again one day

I lost my mom in 1999 and my dad 2004 then in 2016 my oldest sister and less then a year my oldest brother them 10 months later my middle brother and it's so hard out of 5 children it's me my middle sister and my brother who is youngest of the boys I'm the baby of all of them and don't see my brother anymore in the past 6 years and me and my only sister are drifting apart now it's so devastating!! just keep praying to God for answers🙏❤🙏

I finally watched this video and realized his mom died five days after my dad... I remember hearing it for the first time driving down the road during the time we were planning the services and tears were streaming down my face... Three weeks to the day my dad passed, my best/childhood friend passed so now this song means so much more to me... Matter of fact today is /was my besties birtbday , so that is why I came in search of this song to share... :)

In June it will be eight years since you've been gone. I still miss you so much. I just wish you were still here. You weren't in my life much since you were in the military but you came home two weeks before it happened. That's the only memory I have of you. I was seven. I lost my cousin that I barely knew when I was seven. I have your picture I and look at it everyday. Your smile makes me be able to get through the day. This is one of those songs that makes me think of my uncle that passed away a couple years ago and its hard to get him out of my head everytime i would go over and see my grandma at his house and his chair and spit can being empty! Never forget him the only uncle that served his military overseas in the pacific!

I lost my dad (He Got In A Gun Accident) at the age of 2 and now I am 9 and I miss him so much, and my cousin passed away 9-10 days ago and her funeral was 7 days ago and she was born with brain damage, had at least over 6 surgeries had a kidney transplant (The kidney failed) and then she had something blocking her digest thing and couldn't eat and the doctor's couldn't do surgeries where they needed to and she passed away.... :(

Sounds pathetic, but to me its not.... found my max in the back yard a few months ago..got a puppy , talked to counselors, friends, family, even my puppy.... it just sneaks up on me..... this song is great to express the exact way I have been , but it doesn't give you an Answer....oh gosh max, just come back please, if I could save you, I just... you were my first dog, you were there through the abuse, the group homes, the bullies, the nights I had a gun to my head... now what.... how do you move on , when your entire life has been around that one thing?... somehow people move on , eventually I will to..

It's not pathetic. My dog died 7 years ago and there's not a day that goes by where I wonder what life would be like if she survived because she died fairly young for a dog. I always wonder if she would've liked by son or how she would of looked like in her old age. Some things you just never fully recover from.

Please don't ever think it's pathetic to lose someone or anything you love and comforts you!! Emotions are real and true especially if it's a shattered heart I know how much that can cost a life or close to it!! Don't think less than or your not worth being on Earth because someday you will find someone or more than you will ever know and be on top of the world happy so hang on and take it one day at a time .. Remember life is too precious to cut short to end your own life.... I myself have lost more than I ever thought and I too was like you but I am still believing ..... Dreams come true..

Oh my it’s about his Mom I know that feeling. I miss both my parents. Amazing and Fantastic Parents. You can tell ppl over and over to spend as much time with their parents as they can, this younger generation doesn’t seem to understand what it’s like to miss their parents, especially when my Mom was my Best Friend. I thank the moments and memories that I had with both my parents before their passing. No one is promised a tomorrow, so make the best out of a day with your parents.

I know how you feel. Last year, my family and I lost my father and mother in law. My father in law Ray died from a heart attack, Karen died from a stroke. It will be a year next month we lost them. When I was listening to this song on the radio at work, I started to cry because it made me think of them and my own dad when he passed away when I was a teenager. Rip Dad, Karen and Ray, we love and miss you every day.
